I recently had the pleasure of dining at Absolute Barbecues, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now, let me extend a special thanks to Roman and Sudip, who truly made our experience exceptional. Their impeccable service and attention to detail were remarkable. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured that our dining needs were met promptly and efficiently.

Booking - I called twice to book table but they informed me that it's fully booked. This made me think and wonder what's so g8t that it's fully booked and unable get table , so requested for Friday 4 adults and 3 kids. The lady on the other end asked age and informed her about the same, while entering in system table booked for 4 adults and 1 child ( as 1 child was only chargeable out of the 3 ) , because of which we got decent table, however we as a group felt a little uncomfortable . Anyways we adjusted with that and settled on the same table.

Service and refill- Service very slow, no one attended us for 15 mins after we sat on the table. We had to ask for same thing more than twice to get what we want. Unable to manage the crowd and mismanagement.

All the curries did not have egg or chicken pieces or mutton pieces nor the sweet dishes where refilled on time. All empty . Even the live counter of cotton candy chat and ice cream stand in scattered way and the servre does not know who came first, who ever makes eye contact gets served first.

Quality , taste and quantity of food - Too many options but non tasty. Just normal food , the starter served were cold , some of the bbq pieces where over cooked and burnt. The taste of food as per me is below average, have better BBQ options in Doha and India than this . Not worth recommending and visiting again .

Highlight - Manger attitude and response to feedback - I told him that we have to ask everything twice , no server is attentive to request, the curries just have gravy and are not being refilled. If you cannot mange crowd don't over book where staff cannot manage customers requests. Mangers response " Everything is getting refilled , no we are not slow we can manage everything. His tone and body language was very offensive and dis respectful. He was defensive and just didn't want to pay attention to feedback.

Told him very clearly you will see my review on social media and then don't repent. The manager is not worth to be a manager as he does not know how to talk and manage customers.

AFTER EFFECTES OF FOOD -...

This was my First Visit to AB's with family at Dusit D2. Have Been to similar restaurants which cater to the same price range before. So sharing my experience. Pros : 1. Good Location and Ambience to dine and take photos. Starters were Good. Staffs were responsive to your call. Tips were refused in-spite of giving it.

Cons : 1. The person serving chats served just 3 Pani puri in a small bowl cup which was partially soaked with the water and so had to eat the puri and water separately. The wish grill was requested for 3 persons, But instead he filled 1 bowl partially and said that it will be split into 3 shares.(Meaning its not a wish grill) The starters were good, But when we requested them to refill it, We were questioned on which particular item should be given and in-spite of asking for a full refill, the mutton ball was missed. When we requested for it, I was told that mutton ball was already given the first time. Then when I further requested for it, they brought it making us feel uncomfortable to ask them for anything after that.

The main Course - I really dont know to which category of people this would satisfy, but the taste was below average. We served and wasted most of the main course except the butter chicken. The non veg was fresh but the taste was no good at all. The desserts were decent, but below par compared to other restaurants in the same category with less variety.

I did not want to write a review in-spite of the bad experience and decided to avoid coming back again, But today myself and my family have had a bad stomach as well. This has never happened before at any of the other restaurants.
