Hotel Hanu' Berarilor — Hotel in Bucharest

The hotel looks nice and in old architecture which I love.... The rooms are spacious and decent nothing bad but also nothing special. The rooms are well cleaned and the personel is very kind and attentfull, thats why I give it three stars instead of two...

Possitives : 1: Hotel staff (not the restaurant staff..) 2: Architecture ( if there was more attention to the interior design and room design it would be a real gem..) 3 : Location !!!

Negatives : 1: Really thin bad pillows. 2: bathroom... Has a bath/shower but....the flooring is so thin you are afraid you'll crack through it... Then the water is going from real burning hot to real cold back and forth, not realy a relaxing shower.... 3: Restaurant!!! The restaurant is connected to the hotel and the breakfast which comes with it is small in choice and not well made. The staff which there are many are slow and don't listen to what you say / order and are not very hospitable as you would expect.

Last edit for last day .... Have to give it a two star .... The construction work on Saturday morning at 07:00 / 08:00 with yelling construction workers etc... Are...

Nice hotel to stay for a few days if you don't have plan to stay for a long time in the hotel. Beds are comfortable but pillows are too small... I had to request more to sleep nicely which was accommodated without no problem. At one point hotel stayed out of electricity but that is something that they couldn't control. Big disappointment was the bathroom as it was pretty old and while taking a shower the whole floor is wet. They need to fix that. Overall experience was made better with excellent staff at the reception. Restaurant within the hotel has nice food for affordable price but the staff is a disaster. Really unprofessional and definitely rude. No one talks English and not listening what you are ordering. Had to...

Ok hotel, as expected. Cumbersome elevator access to hotel room floor. Some smell in the bathroom. Had a below average breakfast (not included) in the restaurant, and it almost seemed to me like they did not want us there - also loud pop music for breakfast - no willingness to turn it down even though we were the only ones there. Recommend the breakfast at "district 42" instead, 5 min walk into old town, or anywhere...
