Hotel Piccadilly — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

THIS is a MANAGEMENT problem and not a cleaning one! Note that the photos were taken WHEN we arrived, not before going.

So the things are like this: it can be as clean as you expect for a 3 star hotel or above, BUT there are imperfections everywhere the room has smudges on the walls, doors, the mirrors aren't clean, missing floor tiles, the bathroom door handle fell once and it looks someone fought with it no AC in the breakfast room or hotel hallways is insane no wi-fi signal even if we stayed above the lobby on the 1st floor (+ the wi-fi is not encrypted so it's a big security risk) the street part of the hotel is full of construction dust so good for them as they can charge you extra for the lake view rooms the mini fridge has no light bulb lol the reception ladies are kind of bored and unimpressed by everything

If you want to get a cheap room with little to no conditions (also the breakfast is expensive for 2-3 food options only unless you pay the breakfast included price) and next to the main beach areas you can definitely book this hotel. As a clean person, I advise you to not lol.

Edit: I love how the management can't take feedback into consideration and blames the cleaning team when I stated clearly is a management issue because they don't put tiles or repair stuff. Incep prin a spune ca sunt o persoana care e foarte atenta la curatenie si la orice detaliu. Tocmai ce am incheiat un sejur de 3 nopti la hotel Piccadilly. Am cateva lucruri de reprosat si care se pot rezolva atat de usor cu putina implicare... dar probabil patronii se gandesc doar la propriul buzunar. Asadar, curatenia nu e la cel mai inalt nivel. Am dorit o camera cu vedere la lac. Am cerut sa o vedem, am urcat si ne-a intampinat un mare miros de canalizare in camera, usa de la baie fiind deschisa, s-a extins in toata camera. Bun. Oglinzile din camera extrem de murdare. Praf pe tv, pe veiozele de la pat, etc. In baie, faianta stropita cu ceva maro. Iar in mare, camera cu iz comunist, draperia si perdeaua nespalate si neschimbate de pe vremea lui Ceasca. Balconul extrem de mic, dar nu se poate schimba asta, o luam ca atare. Am intrebat apoi la receptie daca mai au alta camera cu vedere la lac disponibila, ni s-a spus ca nu si am acceptat-o pe cea oferita, desi nu mi-a placut deloc. Dar am zis ca n-am venit sa imi stric vacanta, am luat-o ca atare, nu am reprosat nimic la receptie pt ca doamnele erau dragute si oricum nu era vina lor. Micul dejun... dezastru. Aceleasi lucruri 3 zile la rand. Nu stiu ce au facut oamenii care stateau mai mult. Omleta facuta la repezeala, ba cruda, ba arsa. Niste kaizer prajit fara gust. Salata de ciuperci cu maioneza, nu te puteai atinge. Salata orientala cu castraveti proaspeti, nu murati... asa reteta n-am mai vazut. Fructe...numai mere. Chec din comert. Sucurile... oribile. Prafuri amestecate cu apa. Cafeaua era buna macar. Si painea. Si terasa, bineinteles, care oferea vedere direct la lac. M-au bucurat mult lebedele care veneau in fiecare dimineata la micul dejun, le-am hranit de fiecare data. Si multe pisicute, adorabile, care iti aduceau zambetul pe buze. Un plus pentru gradina din spate, foarte intretinuta, curata, cu o vedere superba la lac. Mare problema cu locurile de parcare. Foarte putine in comparatie cu numarul de oaspeti. Ne-am inghesuit pe acolo, vai si amar. Baiatul strain de la curatenie, foarte dragut. Saluta ori de cate ori ne vedea. A schimbat si prosoapele, intra zilnic sa faca o minima curatenie, luat gunoi, aspirat. Chiar ma intreb de ce era asa murdara camera la venire, el parea ca isi face bine treaba, era cam luat la 3 pazeste de doamnele mai in varsta cu care era coleg. Ca o concluzie, hotel cu iz comunist. Receptia e draguta si pare mai noua, dar camerele exact ca pe timpuri. Puncte forte gradina si terasa, faptul ca exista trecere de pietoni chiar in fata hotelului si ca este foarte aproape de plaja. In rest, e nevoie de schimbare serioasa. Eu cu siguranta nu mai revin. Luati exemplul altor unitati de cazare(nu dau nume ca ar fi ciudat, dar fata de anul trecut, anul acesta chiar am dat gres). A hotel that has what it takes to spend a nice, relaxing holiday, but it blow it up. The hotel in refurnished, clean, has a good location, a nice lawn near the lake, even a nice terrace. Breakfast is basic and without variations, no expectations about that. The problems are the weird taste of some food served a-la-carte for dinner (happened 2 out of 3 times when we ate there, once we refused to eat and returned it ) and the total disrespect showed to clients when they accepted that a group of 25-30 people, who organized there some anniversary, put the music loud on the terrace till 00.30-01.00 am and then, continued laughing and speaking loud till 04.00 am. We were forced to sleep windows/doors closed, on A/C instead on open windows and fresh air. Not to mention that even so, the noise was disturbing. Happened 2 nights in a row,...
