Hotel Dacia Sud — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

Very small rooms, hardly any space to pass between the end of the bed and the wall. Small bathrooms, sitting on the toilet you risk being hit with the door if anybody tries to come in. The balcony was not for people with shoe size over 40, as there is not enough space to step out. The rooms were not vacuumed, bed sheets changed only once during our 1 week stay, pillows and blanket with spots the day we checked in. On their website and in the agency brochure they were advertising to sun beds per room, they had absolutely no sun beds on the dirty beach in front of the hotel. The restaurant services were a mess. Asking a waiter if the menu was in english he said he didn't know as he didn't read it..... Ordering something and receiving something else every time, we only ate there because we had meals included. Forgetting to write down everything we ordered, delivering food after more than 1 hour, we not once got to eat all in the same time as the food gets delivered when it's done and not for all in the same time, as normal. Very poor breakfast, forgetting to bring in bread, we took yogurt that was blue and stinking in the box. Advertising also for parking at the hotel, but if you dear to take the car out you're being told your place is not guaranteed when you come back, since they let others in the parking, not just the paying guests of the hotel. I came again this year and I am somewhat disappointed. My salad was dry an black, it was not like in the menu. The breakfast was horrible. My cutlery was dirty. I’m very disappointed. I lowered my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. Pity! Also this year the parking is not free.

There are good things and bad things about this hotel, however due to the location, room with a nice view and terrace, I give it 4 stars. If you come here, ask for an apartment, 3rd or 4th floor, with sea view. The apartments are more spacious, the bathrooms are also larger. The 1st floor rooms have no view, just a roof view, and some rooms are extremely small and suffocating. The hotel is not much, but it’s quite comfortable, I love the view from my apartment and I enjoy eating on the terrace. Hotel renovat dar cu multe minusuri. Angajatele de la receptie sunt slab pregatite profesional si deloc serviabile. Liftul vrea sa fie unul modern (cu vedere exterioara) dar la pornirea din parter, poate sa iti creeze o oarecare ameteala. Un miros placut pe holurile hotelului, dar cam inguste. Usa camerei nu are sistem de inchidere automat (trebuie inchisa usa manual, cu toate ca are sistem de deblocare cu cartela). Se primeste doar 1 cartela / camera (daca sunt doi oameni in camera o sa fie foarte dificil sa se descurce). Noi am avut lipsa in camera: papuci, halate si extra plapuma si perne (in alte camere existau). Baia este extrem de mica (aproximativ 3 metri patrati). Foarte putine prosoape. Dusul avea presiune scazuta si dura foarte mult pana venea apa calda. Produse de ingrijire (sapun, sampon) de slaba calitate. Mobilierul din baie prezenta mari nereguli dupa renovare - igrasie (a se vedea pozele). TV cu diagonala foarte mica. Patul are saltea foarte dura. Frigiderul raceste foarte bine (numai ca trebuie cautat butonul de aprins, pentru ca angajatele il scot din priza si il dau pe treapta 0 – initial am crezut ca nu merge frigiderul). Problema majora: musca imensa omorata pe perete si lasata acolo la vedere (a se vedea poza). Mobilierul de pe balcon era de slaba calitate si ieftin (scaun fara spatar), lipsa unui uscator pentru zilele de plaja. Foarte dragut balconul, si mai dragut daca prindeti camera cu vedere la mare. Micul dejun a fost acelasi in fiecare zi (weekend Mai 2023) si de foarte slaba calitate si rece (cate 1 tip de salam, sunca, branza, ou ochi, omleta, cremvursti, snitele, inele de ceapa, cascaval pane, iaurt, unt, humus, rosii, castraveti, fasole, porumb, peste, zacusca, sfecla). Daca un fel de mancare se termina, nu se grabeau sa il suplimenteze. Mesele de pe terasa unde se putea servi masa, nu aveau fata de masa si cele necesare pentru a lua masa. Scaune mici pe terasa. Lipsa de produse de tip mini bar in frigider. El este declarat pe Booking si de sine statator de 4 stele. Site-ul oficial al lui il declara de 3 stele si serviciile sunt la fel. Pret foarte ridicat pentru luna Mai 2023 – 650lei /camera. Mobila vrea sa fie una cu model mai deosebit. Foarte curat pe paliere si foarte frumos aranjat. Hotelul este amplasat pe faleza.
