We had an amazing experience at the Hotel and its interior restaurant. Located very close to the “old town”. The pool and the decor was a super nice touch. The rooms were spacious, renewed and clean, very friendly hosts and staff, and an abundant food menu to choose from whether it’s lunch or dinner at the restaurant. You can’t go wrong with the traditional and local Beef Gulaș. It’s to die for! PS: attached is the local made linguine pasta with salmon and tasty sauce you need to try out - no spoilers! Breakfast was included in the room and was very popular as most of the time we’d pick what was left, but besides that, it was tasty, neat and plenty of options to choose from usually. We slept in fairly late, so it may have been our fault too. Overall, great experience. We plan on coming back when possible, but especially during the summer. Noroc!

We visited Sighisoara during our family vacation and stayed at Hotel Korona for a night. We chose it because of: the positive reviews, AC, the pool, included breakfast, included parking, and the 4 person rooms perfect for a family with small children. The receptionist was very kind, the view from our room is amazing, and the rooms are updated and clean. And the AC worked well and not loud. Also, check out is at 12pm which is rare these days. The extra time allowed us to enjoy our breakfast and even jump in the pool one more time. Oh, and the location is very close to the old town/cetate. We’ll gladly come back again!

I would reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in Sighișoara. Its a walking distance close to the city centre, easy parking for residents infront of the hotel and a really nice pool area. They guy at the reception was really friendly and he also gave us a free upgrade of the room. Some things small to point out though the hot water in the shower is not so hot and comes out from where it is marked blue on the shower not the red as it should be. The sink is not attached to the wall so it kept moving and also there was some dust on the floor and on the furniture but otherise all good for the price we paid.

Pro: Location is good, everything in Sighisoara is withing reasonable walking distance for a tourist. They have private parking. Facilities are great(gym, pool and jacuzzi- very clean). Room was clean and spacious (standard double) and we had a balcony. TV was big and they had lots of channels(plus in my book compared to other hotels). Air conditioning was available. Con: Room was exactly above the kitchen. Every time we opened a window or went on the balcony it smelled like eggs and bacon in our room and everything around. Breakfast was served a la carte due to covid19 restrictions. We had 4 options. It was poor in general(compared to other 4* hotels) and weird that only 2 of the 4 options included butter. I requested butter and was told that the option I selected did not include butter. One day I asked 3 times(3 different people) to receive toast and only received it the next morning. No dessert was available. Sound proofing was not very good( with windows and door closed we could hear people talking in the hallway - they woke me up) . Staff was friendly and helpful with small exceptions. All in all it was a good experience, but it could have been...

We stayed in this hotel on the first night of our trip. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, our room was spacious and clean with beautiful furniture and a large clean bathroom, toiletries, towels and slippers included. We overlooked the pool area and had a lovely view of the old town which is a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast was good, a nice selection of food and drinks. Staff were friendly and welcoming. ||The downsides were - no elevator in the block we stayed in, we had to haul 4 suitcases up and down three flights of spiral type stairs as we were on the third floor so not ideal if you have mobility issues. The only beverages supplied in our room was espresso coffee. I asked for a mug for tea/coffee but there weren't any available. The double bed was pushed against the wall with a huge locker at the end of the bed and no lockers at the head of the bed, this was very awkward getting in and out and there wasn't anywhere to put glasses, books, phones etc. without getting out of the bed. Ideally the bed should be turned the opposite way. ||Otherwise I would definitely recommend this hotel, it's the nicest hotel we've stayed in in...

I have checked in with a very positive energy and ready to explore a new place. Everything was fine till I got in the room and asked for and Iron and Iron board. I was told that they don't allow this in the room.Ok. "Then give the space where I can go and press my shirt!! " Of course they said that is not possible and I have to pay for this service, wich is not right. First time in my life, where in Romania,in a 3-4* hotel you are not allowed to press your clothes. I have stayed in many hotels and plenty of them were 5* where you could press your clothes. Another issue was that the Tv didn't work. I have spoken with the front desk manager and explained my situation but with no positive results, so they let me go. I packed my stuff and left the property because they don't allow a service that is regular everywhere. By the way the building is not historic or anything special that can have this rule in place. Very...
