I really enjoyed my stay at New Belvedere and I will definitely come back here. I booked a Standard double room and we've been offered a large room which came with an internal staircase and a ceiling window. The bathroom was very clean and large. I was pleasantly surprised to notice the designer toiletries which I think is a nice touch showing that they care. Every single time we asked for help the staff was very kind and helpful and the gentleman in the restaurant was particularly friendly (unfortunately I don't know his name). The breakfast was very good and offered a nice selection. They don't have large quantities on 'display' (which is in fact one of the things I appreciated) but they dishes are varied and healthy (dried fruit, seeds, cheeses, a variety of meats, fruit, sweets, salats as well as fish-based dishes and others). We've had more than enough to eat every single morning and everybody else had plenty to eat. We had no problem getting into the parking lot as there was always someone there to open the gate for us. The hotel is probably the closest one to the Gondola so it was very easy for us to get to the slopes. Another nice touch is the music one can hear while walking on the corridors-this may seem silly but when after staying in quite a few places around different countries one may find this helps reduce outside noise coming from other tourists which is a bonus. I appreciated the complementary water and was a bit surprised when seeing that the coffee comes with a price but we did not need it as we were busy skiing. Having stayed in a couple of other places in Poiana Brasov this hotel is definitely very good value for money taking into consideration what its services and proximity...

Read moreThey may steal your money or time, even you can find yourself in police station if you enter this hotel ....||For Last February we had a non-refundable reservation for this hotel via booking.com. We have paid whole money 2 months before our time of stay and we have received all confirmations. ||When we entered the reception on time of stay, they told us they have no available rooms and offered us to give our money back in local currency ( all credit card commissions and currency differencies cutted). Suprisingly they did not do anything to arrange any other hotel or tried to compansate. (At this point booking.com helped us to arrange other hotel, thanks alot to booking.com ). We had to wait at the reception for 4-5 hours to arrange another option, in somuch that which is disgusting, they called police to take us out from the hotel ... We waited police and tried to explain the situation we were experiencing.||We were two family with little kids and had really very bad time.||If we couldn't received a proffesional approach from the booking.com we would have a criminal problem with hotel and police. ||I could get my chargeback from the bank credit card 3 months later this problem happened. ||As a result idiot hotel, hotel manager and all hotel staff...
