Adam`s House — Hotel in округ Смольнинское

A special hotel! Only steps above a hostel, but cheap and unexpectedly nice. The staffs knowledge in English isn't that great but with some Google translate and lots of laugh we had a great time and got all questions sorted! No breakfast buffet, but you get to choose from a menu and they even managed to get me gluten free food! The rooms are clean and newly refurbished. ATM and grocery shop on the other side of the road.

The only two downsides are the anonymous entrance with stairs but no elevator and that the room didn't have cooling, so we had to sleep with the window opened just above a six lane road.

If you get on the trolleybus 5, 7 or 11 you quickly end up in the city center or if you prefer walking you'll get to stroll all along the Nevsky Prospect, so location is good. If Stanislav is manning the reception desk you might get to taste the local soft drink Kvas!

My girlfriend booked us a room at Adam's Hotels for 2 nights. She was in direct contact by phone with the owner during the booking, he was very helpful. The place is located in what looks like an apartment building from the outside, but once inside it is very clean and modern. The pictures we were sent of our specific room were exactly accurate - very modern, trendy and comfortable. The staff there were all very pleasant, including giving us breakfast an hour after this had finished one morning when we turned our alarms off and ended up over-sleeping.||St. Petersburg itself is a beautiful city of course, the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Nevsky Prospekt, but there is a bus stop a few minutes walk away too. I'd like to go back, and if I do I'd be very happy to stay at Adams...

Please scroll down for comment in English! Отличный, уютный, маленький, чистый отель. Очень приветливый и услужливый персонал, отзываются на все просьбы. Комнатки тесноваты, но это не критично, нам всё понравилось. Немного душновато, но предлагают и вентиляторы, и проветривание комнат. Здесь, скорее всего, особенности дома. Очень чисто, есть кухня, можно пить чай, кофе. Есть гладильные доски, тапочки, стиральная машина. В номере много розеток (что есть не везде!), настенные лампы рядом с кроватями (с выключателями), быстрый вай-фай. И цена приемлемая. Отель расположен на втором этаже. Лифта нет, но ступеньки пологие, небольшие, удобно подниматься и спускаться, персонал помогает, если нужно. Нас очень приветливо встретили и разрешили въехать пораньше. Очень близко (1мин ходьбы) есть кафе и пирожковая вкусно перекусить, магазины, хорошая транспортная доступность. Обязательно сюда вернёмся, когда будем в Питере. ПС: никакого запаха не почувствовали, как в предыдущем комментарии. Вероятно, человек ошибся этажом, так как в этом же подъезде есть и хостел. Но этот отель на 2 этаже, главное - смотреть на надписи. Now in English: This is a very cozy and homy hotel with quiet and very comfortable atmosphere and great, friendly staff. Small but clean and quiet, safe rooms, tea and coffee for free anytime, fast wi-fi, plots for charging, a lot of light in the room. One comment earlier says that it is stinky hostel but I would argue that in this building there is also a hostel at one of the floors but this one is an actual hotel with a good level of comfort.
