The Faces Moyka — Hotel in Palace District

This is the only hotel that do not want to refund our money due to Covid. They have our money since more than 3 years ago and they ignore us. Russia is closed for us, it is not even our decision not go there and they just don't care. The customer care is really poor and they just ignore us everytime we want to scalate this. They just stole our money.

Now they answer and say that there is a mistake and they will fix it. Do not believe them, they just want to make a good impression online. I write emails to the hotel soooo many times and they always refused to refund my money. They do not care at all and don't even read what I say. This is the worst place I've never known, humanless and careless.

We booked four nights stay and were not disappointed. This is a small boutique hotel with very few amenities except from beautifully furnished, well appointed and comfortable bedrooms. The Receptionist/Administor (Valentina) is superb. She is helpful and efficient and very friendly. She answers emails promptly and will help with restaurant and taxi bookings. Her English is very good.||||The hotel is very centrally located close to the River Neva embankment, the Summer Gardens and the Church on Spilled Blood! The Hermitage, St Isaac’s Cathedral and other sites are only a short walk away. Cafés and restaurants are very close by.||||The only ‘downsides’ are that the hotel is among fairly nondescript side streets just back from the river so there is no ‘ view’ and also breakfast at the hotel is not available. Me and my two friends stayed here over the weekend, and we could not have been happier with the hotel. It's in a quiet, safe area with many good restaurants and tourist attractions just around the corner, the room was nice and clean and the service was just excellent. Especially one girl in the reception, named Daniela, was happy to help us with everything from ordering taxis to helping us find a post office. We were all really pleased...
