Checked into Lava Hotel from 11th-15th March, 2024 as part of Pacific delegates for a conference. Before checking in, I checked the reviews online and found that they were mostly negative critics, comments on poor ventilation, horrible food, alotta noise, housekeeping services not up to par etc. I went to Samoa prepared for all of these. I knew the meeting would be hectic and I was hoping I wouldn't have to experience the negative reviews in person.
BUT I WAS BLOWN AWAY. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. From the day before Arrivals, I organized pickup from the airport and I was Absolutely shook at the quick turnaround time. My request was quite late, literally messaged for a transport before leaving Nadi Airport on the midnight flight to Apia. The transport was arranged with no hassles, that was a huge plus for me right from the get-go. I checked in smoothly at 2:30am, staff were up to receive me, I got a fridge with bottles of water chilled and milk, I had some complimentary crackers as well.
The food each day was exceptional. Room service got to me at the latest 30mins after ordering and was fresh! Fresh laundry folded, crisp after each meeting day. Loved it.
I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ALL MANKIND. Chayhoo. Fafetai Team...

I came out around 4pm, cones were there but my truck wasn't there at where I parked; my friends car was also moved but got stucked on the kerb; I asked the securities outside for who moved my car, he said, an instruction from the boss of the hotel. The guys forced & opened our cars, then pushed my truck and parked 3 blocks further down. This is "an unlawful and unproffesional act" by the boss to the guests. Our car are old ones, I guess that's why they forced moving them away. Whether local or overseas guests, we/they are all guests and must be treated the same.
They should have put cones on that parking area in the morning due the Punialava'a LIVE in the night. We found out later in the evening that guests cannot drink nor buy drinks at/from the bar. Guests have to buy drinks from outside also they have to go to the top floor but not at the bar, this is due the Punialava'a LIVE in that evening We were not told about this & that when we checked in.
What an awful service & treatment we got & received from LAVA hotel. A zero recommendation to anyone from...
