I went here for about 7 meals during my 8 day stay in samoa, every time the food was amazing, waiters were amazing, everything in general was great, i tried a small variety of things but everything was good, The only downside is the amount of ice cream served with the Chocolate Cake (i love my ice cream.. and cake) One evening i got 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and the next night i got 1 scoop.. which is a tad weird. But not too fussed if i’m paying 20 odd Tala, I’m from New Zealand and (nearly) every restaurant i visited made me feel like i was at home (some could probably disagree) but in conclusion everything was great here, Shout out to the team at Amanaki Restaurant, I highly recommend it and keep everything up. Cheers :)

We dined in on a Monday night for dinner. The restaurant was busy and although given a seat almost right away we were advised there’s be a wait. The food was good, the wait staff tried their best but it was obvious that they were understaffed. The outdoor area could do with a bit more character and light - we couldn’t see the writing on the menus as where we sat was poorly lit. It’s great to see Samoa booming with tourists but the industry needs to keep up with the influx before the tourist change their minds about returning to Samoa.

Hands down our favourite restaurant on the island! We actually went 3 times in a week and the food was that good! Both the Poke Ahi and Sashimi were so fresh and tasty. Fish of the day is 38 tala and we had swordfish and mahi mahi - both delicious. The seafood pasta was also 38 tala and really great. They had live music on Saturdays which just added to the atmosphere. Go here if you’re in Apia and want a great meal for a decent price!

I was there last month, and the food was amazing! Grilled fish is great, but paired with a weird white sauce. Sashimi was fresh, beer served draft.

Last week when I visited it was different. The poke that is usually it’s best dish, had the bloodline and skin from the tuna still attached on multiple pieces. The sirloin steak was tough and although it is a great way to serve steak on a sizzling platter, it dried out the bottom and burnt the sauce. I asked for medium well, but it was well done for the most part. Such a disappointment because last month it was a thousand times better. Most of the people we met along the way also said the same of amanakis over last week. We will still give you another try next time back. Maybe keep someone on quality control for the poke, that is the...

This has to be one of the best restaurants in town. The quality of the food is consistently high and the prices are very reasonable indeed. Service is excellent, as is the location opposite Apia Harbour. The seating is very versatile - inside or outside in the tropical, warm breeze. The fresh fish is just super. There's always a great atmosphere because the locals know what's good.value. I've never failed to get a table - Amanaki Hotel guests benefit from automatic reservations, I think. Otherwise booking is recommended at weekends. An excellent duo provides great music on Saturdays. This delightful venue richly deserves 5 stars in every category. Dining is one good thing. Breakfasts and lunches...
