Hop Inn rooms & suites — Hotel in City of Belgrade

0/5 stars would be lovely for this place. After booking a room since more than half of year ago because we bought tickets for a Rammstein concert, and after somebody from that place confirmed with us on Whatsapp that we are coming about a few weeks ago, today we got a lovely "invalid card" although the card was used many times in the past on booking and the whole sum was available for withdrawal. So two weeks before the stay and the concert, we are left completely in the dark with no room and all of the places in the city already booked. Since "invalid card" is not an option, I can guess they wanted to cancel it so they can get now 3 times more for the same room from other people. I saw this practice done in other cities during big events and festivals. Of course now the person that confirmed with us that we will be there and wished us "lovely having you soon" or something, now does not reply anymore. They completely ruined our small vacation and concert and we are hoping booking.com will do something against them, still no answer from them until the moment of this review. We just want our reservation to be in place since we did not do...

Absolutely incredible place to stay. Very clean rooms and comfortable location near the historical centre of the city. Room design is very good and you’ll have anything you need for free in the room. Receptionist was so sweet and nice, and helped me a lot. She answered my questions in messenger even when it was 11 pm. The main touristic street, Kneza Mikhailova, is in the neighbourhood. Local market Zeleny Venac where you can buy berries and fruits is 3 mins away from here. I highly recommend this place. Thanks to all the stuff including the cleaner. I definitely recommend this place. Its close to the city center, you can easily walk from here to saint sava or kalemegdan. Its right next to the zeleni venac bus stop, and if you take the 72 bus, youll arrive right by the suite. The receptionist speaks great english & is very helpful. The room is clean, none of my stuff went missing. The tv has Serbian channels but theres a few that air movies dubbed in english. Even though its on a busy road, I wasnt startled by the noise outside. It doesnt have people constantly going in and out of the staircase/apartment hallway either....
