Jazz Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

This is the only review you will have to read. This restaurant must have artificially received so many 5 star ratings. Although the restaurant looks pretty nice don’t let yourself be tricked. It took very long for the server to reach us allowing us to enjoy 5 minutes of being surrounded by clouds of smoke and watching American soccer games on the tv, while not hearing any jazz music. I ordered ‘grilled mozzarella rolls’ (appetizer) and bruschetta caprese. The bruschetta were just slices of bread with a thick slice of cheese on it and half of a cherry tomato, grilled in the oven for 20 seconds, situated on a plate surrounded by random pieces of lettuce. For everyone’s information: that is not what bruschetta is. As for the ‘grilled mozzarella rolls’ - I literally don’t know where to begin. Firstly, ‘rolls’ is not an accurate description of what I received. It would be best described as a softball sized (!) piece of low quality cheese, wrapped in mozzarella, wrapped in too much overcooked bacon, bathing in its own grease. It was truly an atrocity - I have never seen food be disrespected in such a way. Our main course was a unappetizing pizza with random grilled vegetables and a pasta ‘prosciutto mozzarella’ which was actually just a pasta Alfredo with (again) bacon. Don’t get me wrong at first; the food was good in my experience. I asked for a focaccia with mozzarella, pesto and tomatoes; but funnily enough they didn’t give me focaccia bread at all but nicely displayed it with pieces of baguette and a little salad in the middle. So it was a little off, but it was still very tasty.

Now to the negative point. I sat down at a table and we were looking through the menu, when one of the employees came up to us and asked if we would like to drink or eat. We said eat, and because the table we sat at was too little to serve food on, she said we should change seats, as we politely did, and even thanked her for telling us. Then she proceeded to raise her voice at her other employee, pushing the chairs we sat on previously and somehow somewhat made fun of us for sitting at the incorrect table. She was very rude and loud, and luckily didn’t serve us furthermore. I won’t...

Unfortunately, my experience at this place this afternoon didn’t leave a good impression. The waitress who served us seemed pretty rude and like she just wasn’t having a good day. From the very beginning, she was unpleasant, nervous, and acted like everything we asked was a bother. She interrupted us while ordering and generally had a bad attitude, which is not what you expect when you come to have a meal. The service overall was very poor. She wasn’t just unprofessional, but openly rude to guests. On top of that, she was way too loud this afternoon, which made the atmosphere even worse. The food was expensive and we expected better. It was average, lacking any special flavor, and it arrived lukewarm. To make things worse, the place isn’t air-conditioned inside, which is a serious downside...
