Hotel NB Skadarlija — Hotel in City of Belgrade

Be aware if the tricky cancellation policy of this hotel as they are trying to grab their money no matter what and this is shameful for a 4-star hotel. My trip cancelled and I had to cancel the reservation at the last minute. The cancellation policy states that it is free to cancel until 23/11 and normally, based on my extensive experience with Booking and Expedia it means that customers can cancel until the end of the day of the 23rd. However, they stated that it was free until 00:00 on the 23rd, so basically the last day to cancel was 22nd and not 23rd as they showing during the reservation. This is deceiving and shameful. I filed the formal request to wave the fee, called the hotel and requested it as well and contacted the customer service of Booking.com. Despite all promises the hotel decided to grab their 61 Euro no matter what. Even taking into account that it was fully booked during these days and if course sold my room immediately easily. AVOID this place if you think that your plans may change. This is their way of earning money. All respectful hotels concerned about their reputation wave the fees in such tricky cases and with such amount of requests to so. But not...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at HOTEL NB SKADARLIJA during my trip to Belgrade, Serbia, and I couldn't have been more delighted with my experience. This boutique hotel left a lasting impression for all the right reasons.

The hotel's location is a true highlight. Situated in the heart of Skadarlija, Belgrade's charming bohemian quarter, it offered easy access to the city's historic and cultural treasures. I was able to explore the cobblestone streets and enjoy local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The comfortable bed and modern amenities provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city.

The staff at HOTEL NB SKADARLIJA were exceptional. They were always friendly, professional, and ready to assist with any request.

HOTEL NB SKADARLIJA is a hidden gem in Belgrade, offering an ideal blend of comfort, excellent service, and a prime location. It's the perfect base for exploring the city's rich culture and history. Very disappointed experience. Lift was out of work without a fix date so that we had to carry the heavy luggage on our own without help after a long drive. Apparently the lift was not working for a long time and they should have removed the lift facility from the booking page! The staff told me that you should check the review from the previous customers so that you know upfront :)

We booked the price in euro but they said they could only accept dinar so they converted in a hotel exchange rate which is more expensive than even the street exchange! All the previous hotels we stayed could either charge directly euro through credit card machine or follow the daily exchange rate. Horrible experience.

Moreover, no car access in the street. We had to walk to the hotel, get the card and drive back to the parking. And the most ridiculous, you need to carry all your luggage to the parking, drive out, and park your car somewhere illegally and take that parking card back to the hotel by walking. So much hazard. Not recommend.
