First I will comment on the staff. St. Ten could not have a more genuine or courteous staff. I have stayed in motels with great service and the luxury hotels with bad service. St. Ten offered the best luxury and service. I was choosing between St. Ten and the new Sheraton a block away. We chose the St. Ten after a 14 day multi country trip, I won the best hotel pick award. At some larger hotels, they help and accommodate your requests, they smile, everything is good, but its mechanical and rote. The Staff at St. Ten were genuine and sincere when they talked to you and assisted you; from the receptionist and concierge to the bartenders. The location of the hotel was perfectly placed between the more modern shopping/ Skaralika cafe area and the St. Sava Basilica (about 3 blocks away towering over the hotel). On Friday evening they have live music with a mix of dj and band which draws in a good local happy hour group which is a pleasant change from other hotels. They have an amazing free breakfast buffet, all made from scratch. This is not your holiday Inn breakfast. This is amazing stuff. In addition, did I mention free accommodations in the mini bar. Its the little things, and they should get credit for them.
My only recommendation is a bigger gym. I still like to workout and their gym is small. I dont spa at all when I travel, but I heard that could have a little more options as well. I do not write many reviews, but I took the time to write a sincere review of this...
Read moreThe hotel has convenient transportation. The airport bus A1 terminal is within a 15-minute walk from the hotel. There are many bus stops around, but the frequency of bus arrivals does not seem to be frequent. People are not impatient and have a good attitude. The lobby is comfortable, and the staff are young, beautiful, enthusiastic and proactive, answering all questions and very friendly. The elevator is fast. The breakfast is at the back of the lobby. It is rich, with hot and cold food, cutlery, forks and towels available, which is comfortable. The room is not big, quiet, and suitable for living alone. The bedding is clean and comfortable. Free bottled water is still in glass bottles. If you need an electric kettle, the service staff will send it over immediately. The TV has CCTV 4 Chinese International Europe. The bathroom is clean and toilet paper is placed easily. The carpet next to the bed was a bit stumbling, and when the lights were turned off at night, it was impossible to leave a small lamp on and it was completely dark. In short, the service and breakfast are five stars. My room is opposite the elevator. The room is small and dark overall. Not very...
Read moreVery good hotel, good location (walkable distance to pedestrian zone in Belgrade), close proximity of St Sava church and lot of nice restaurants and cafes in the area, but still in quiet one way street, protected from heavy traffic noise. Service is also excellent, as soon as I arrived by hotel transportation (driver at pickup at the airport, brand new mercedes e class, everything clean) I was welcomed by Marco bellboy to take care of my luggage and later to deliver it to my room. All the stuff was very polite and professional during my whole stay, but especially Marco who served me well so thumbs up for him. Rooms are clean, well equipped, hotel is stylish and luxurious. I also like that it's smaller hotel, not some kind of 200+ rooms hotel where you are regularly served by different stuff. Here stuff almost socialize with you, they know your needs, what you prefer etc. Thing to appreciate. I don't know what more to say than keep up the good work and see you soon cause I definitely know where I will stay in my next Belgrade visit...
