I recently had the pleasure of staying at Moxy Hotel Belgrade, and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the exceptional staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, even accommodating me when I missed the breakfast hours.
One of the standout qualities of this hotel is the amazing staff. Their warm and friendly demeanor immediately made me feel welcome. They were knowledgeable about the city and provided me with excellent recommendations for places to visit. The check in process was swift and efficient, accompanied by genuine smiles that set a positive tone for my stay.

Impressively, Moxy Hotel Belgrade has been open for only two months, yet it has already established itself as a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable and affordable experience. The price is reasonable considering the level of service and comfort provided, making it an excellent value for money.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Moxy Hotel Belgrade to anyone seeking a superb hotel experience. Read moreVery mixed feelings about this hotel. Newly taken over building and decorated. So mostly all generally well kept.
For Belgrade the cost was high, so setup to expect a high level of service. Keeping in mind I’m Marriott Gold.
I understand Moxy is a lower end (budget) brand, but does feel like Marriott have cut some vital corners here.
Staff (only 2 interactions) 1 excellent, the other average. Didn’t feel totally valued as a customer though…did receive a small upgrade on the room. But nothing special.
When checking in I was asked to sign a room rate document, then when checking out, I was given an invoice to check, then once paid was given another invoice. 6 pages overall. I’m a Marriott member, email me, or add it to the app or something.
WiFi was amazing!
Room - very small room, with very little space to do anything. With two people in the room with a carry on case each, there was only just room enough to move. Some cool bits such as a good tv, fridge and shower. Lights that turn on under the bed when you get up. However bathroom was also small and was missing a few bits, such as fan to clear steam, or a heated mirror, making it impossible to use the mirror post shower. Generally Functional but basic, touch of style and slick finish
On 4th floor, but had a bit of noise from the road, emptying bins at 6:30am and 10pm nothing terrible but could be annoying.
Bed was very lumpy and hard, not at all comfortable. Poor for a new hotel.
House keeping - staff all friendly but maybe not very attentive. Looked like they changed the towels every day, despite them all being on hooks. But did not replace the empty box of tissues.
Didn’t look like they vacuumed the floors during stay, (would have only taken 30 seconds given the lack of floor space)
The decorative pillows were discussing, fortunately not placed on the bed every night like some hotels do. Curtains were also not great at keeping the light out, and had some very suspicious looking stains on them.
Gym was basically running machine, bike, some free weights and that’s it. Not much to talk about.
Overall functional, but way over priced for what...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Moxy – Belgrade, and I wanted to express my overall satisfaction with my experience. The hotel provided a welcoming and friendly environment that truly enhanced my visit. I was particularly impressed with the exceptional service provided by the receptionist at the front desk and the housekeeping personnel. The firm and comfortable beds were a relief for my back, and I found them to be exactly what I needed for a good night's sleep.
I am inclined to make Moxy my go-to choice for future stays in Belgrade due to this positive experience. However, I must bring a minor issue to your attention that slightly marred my otherwise delightful impression.
Following the hotel's recommendation, which was kindly made by the reception staff, I opted for taxi service number "656" to transport me to the airport. To my surprise, I was charged 2700 dinars for the trip, whereas my previous journey from the airport to the hotel had cost me only 1800 dinars. This discrepancy amounted to an exact 50% increase over the regular fare.
I am uncertain whether there is a nighttime tariff in operation for taxis in Belgrade, but I did observe the number "2" prominently displayed on the left side of the taximeter during the ride, despite it being 9 am. Additionally, I attempted to pay by credit card in order to obtain a receipt, but the taxi driver claimed that his POS machine was not functioning, leaving me without the necessary documentation for the transaction.
I wanted to bring this matter to the hotel's attention to see if the hotel can take any action to address it with the local taxi association or authorities. My hope is that steps can be taken to prevent such situations from occurring again and to ensure that future guests do not face similar...
