Marquise Hotel — Hotel in City of Belgrade

Room was ok. No toiletries in the bathroom which is surprising for a hotel that claims to be 4 star. Unhelpful staff. We had to check in here for a night because of a missed connection flight and we requested them for an airport pick up. We called and informed that our flight was late and specifically told them to track the flight and send the driver as per the actual flight time. When we arrived at the airport around midnight there was no cab. All the other hotels had drivers with placards. We ended up having to spend 50 euros for a taxi to this hotel which we booked on our own from the airport. But they made us pay for the transport (which we did not use) as they said the driver had waited at the airport for some time and left and said it was not the drivers duty to wait for the flight to come. This is after informing them that the flight was delayed. The lady at the reception claims that she did not have this information as the person who took it down was done with his shift and left. Left us with a bad taste and we do not...

The room was booked and paid for several several days. I had work and wasn't in the hotel for a 3 days and when I came back my room which was already paid was given to someone else... The hotel was full and I couldn't stay at the hotel even I booked and paid the room. The manager said the room was rented to someone else because I wasn't in the hotel for the last 3 days... The manager just say sorry, but the hotel is full and at midnight in Belgrade I had to find another hotel because of the decision of the hotels' manager. This is so disgusting and disappointing. I can't imagine how that's possible!!! When I asked the manager for a solution the lady start screaming to me by the phone. It was so sad and rough. Be careful with that hotel because you can't be safe and you can't be sure your room is for you even if you paid id before. I don't recommend the hotel at all. I stayed at this "4-star" hotel recently and booked a superior room with one king bed and a sofa bed on Bookings. While the hotel's central location in Belgrade is convenient and they offer free parking, getting into the garage was quite tricky due to the extremely narrow entrance.

Unfortunately, the stay was quite disappointing. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work, and the night temperature dropped to 6°C. When we raised this with the receptionist, she provided a small heater and some stained duvets, which was quite off-putting and far below the standard I would expect from a hotel of this rating.

It seams that I wasn't invited to write any review on bookings as if someone could predict that I would write some negative comments.

Overall, while the location is a plus and he breakfast is okey, the condition of the room and the lack of proper heating made the experience uncomfortable. The disgusting extra duvet...
