Disappointing Stay: Kids Running Rampant !|I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed with my experience. One of the biggest issues I encountered was the lack of respect for pool rules, especially from the many families with young children.|The pool area was constantly filled with kids, which is not a problem in itself, but their behavior left much to be desired. They were running around, splashing water excessively, and not following the rules regarding appropriate swimming attire. This created an environment that was not enjoyable for other guests who wanted to relax and unwind by the pool.|Additionally, the quality of service has significantly deteriorated since my last visit. The staff seemed overwhelmed and undertrained, leading to long wait times for assistance and a general sense of neglect. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and the cleanliness of the rooms suffered as a result. The once immaculate facilities now showed signs of wear and tear, with chipped paint and outdated furniture.|It's unfortunate to see how this hotel has changed over the past year. While I understand that families with children deserve a welcoming and enjoyable environment, it's essential to maintain a certain level of decorum and respect for all guests. Moreover, the rapid decline in service quality is concerning and indicates a lack of investment in staff training and facility maintenance.|In light of these issues, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. 4+/5 Hotel Tonanti is definitely one of the most modern and well-maintained hotels in Vrnjačka Banja and Serbia. The hotel is ultra clean, with spotless rooms, common areas, and spa facilities — cleanliness is a true highlight. However, the room we stayed in did not have a terrace and felt a bit tight for a family with two kids. It would’ve been much more comfortable with a bit more space or a balcony option.

The food is good, a solid 4/5, with a decent variety at both breakfast and dinner. That said, there’s room for improvement — the buffet could offer more variety and include some more upscale or creative dishes, especially for dinner. A touch of refinement or a few “fancier” options would elevate the culinary experience.

Hotel facilities are impressive: multiple pools, wellness zone, saunas, and a kid-friendly area. However, during peak season it can get very crowded, particularly around the children’s pool, which makes it harder to fully relax.

The location is perfect — right in the heart of Vrnjačka Banja, just a short walk from the promenade, parks, and all main attractions. It’s a great base for families or couples looking to explore the area.

Overall, Hotel Tonanti is a top-tier option for Vrnjačka Banja. With just a few small improvements, it could be truly exceptional.

Complaints about the spa center, salt is falling off the walls of the salt room, the walls in front are peeling, there are no employees to regularly bring water bottles, you have to call them and they are not close to the spa. The spa is not separated from the swimming pool, so noise, screams of children, introduction of children to the hammam, saunas by irresponsible parents are generally present. Music like in a disco, in the corridors in front of the rooms is better, relaxing music. Rooms, cleanliness, corridors, elevators, lobby bar, bathrooms and toilets, restaurant all on a level. There is no smoking anywhere, except in the rooms separated for that, which is phenomenal! In the spa, the steam in the steam bath and one bench in the tepidarium, the jacuzzi that is part of the pool, with a bunch of children in and around it, as well as the heat of the stones in one of the saunas, did not work, but if you inform the spa reception, the technical service will arrange it for the next day. A dryer for costume buyers in the changing rooms, an excellent thing. The food is excellent. Rauch juices in the morning and in the evening, as well as quality coffee, a large selection.
