Hotel Bojnický Vínny Dom — Hotel in Bojnice

Liked · I haven´t visited many accommodations which surprised me so much in a positive way - mostly by the personnel and owners. This one is one of them. Parking is very safe, outside of the rush of the main street, room and bathroom was spacious, with view of the castle (1st floor had partial castle view). Room was clean, with minibar and AC, which came handy during heatwave. The whole object is accessible through access cards (also the front door with no receptionist). Breakfast was very generous, even during the pandemic - we have been offered wide variety of options what we want to eat and it was brought to us. Gluten-free options are available as well. Surroundings, the music the hotel and location of the hotel (right on the main boulevard) are perfect. Despite being on the main street, hotel is quiet. Main advantage of this hotel however are people. Owners are perfectly accommodating, they are supportive (e.g. due to complicated parking options in the city, we wanted to have car parked for few hours after check-out, and that was completely supported). I have forgotten toothbrush and they were prepared for such situations and provided me luckily one for free. That I consider as superb service. I was mainly asking where is closest store where I can buy toothbrush, but as they offered me one, it wasn´t necessary to ask further. Later I have noticed 101-drogerie I think, just few hundred meters from the hotel. All the employees (e.g. cleaning lady) were very pleasant, smiling and supportive and I wish to Thank them very much for them being there. I have recently stayed in Hotel Vinny Dom and was impressed with the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, the furniture is classy and I loved the room I was staying in. There are also lovely spa facilities which is a great bonus. What made my stay really special though, is the Lekyr family who run the hotel. I have never met such amazing people, going far over and beyond of what you would normally expect just to make sure that their guests have an excellent experience of staying in their hotel. They are passionate about what they do and incredibly caring. You can feel this across the hotel, in their interactions with you and by offering help and support whenever they can. A huge thank you for creating such a wonderful place. Another bonus of staying in the hotel was the adjacent Spanish-themed vegan restaurant called BarVeg. What a gem! The atmosphere was amazing and the food was second to none... Wish I could go back now! Overall, an excellent experience that I will remember and treasure for a long time to come. Hoping to visit again...

This is a jewel of a hotel. It is modern, very clean and extremely convenient for dining, walking, and visiting the Bojnice Castle. Paid parking was available behind the hotel in a secure area. We felt both comfortable and safe here. To get those post cards on their way, the post office is just around the corner and there are an abundance of good restaurants on the same street within a 5 minute walk down a tree lined promenade.. The room was very nicely decorated with period furniture and supplemented with an air-conditioning unit that made the summer heat disappear. The bathroom was roomy and fully complete down to the shower enclosure. We were fortunate enough to have the owner's son check us in. He and the staff speak excellent English for those who may need it, and he was so totally helpful and generous with his time to help us expand our trip to include some central Slovak insider recommendations which were perfect.
