Arrived at Roxor around 6 PM without reservation. Restaurant was fully booked, we (2 people) decided to wait on the sofa. After around 5 Minutes waiting, one of the waiter approached us and offered us a table for 3 next to the bar. We gladly took it. We ordered 2 burgers around 6:15. As the restaurant was full we see that the kitchen was very busy. We also observe that the food that goes out from the kitchen come in batches / not per table. After the first batch we still did not receive our food. Our order came after the second batch, around after 7 pm. We observe that another table that arrived around 15-20 Mins after us received their food already. We looked into the kitchen counter we see that there were 2 plates with burger just laying there. We saw that the other waitress were not interested in bringing out our orders. Our waitress who took our order was busy taking order from the people outside. Not until after extra 5 minutes someone finally took the plates from the counter and bringing them to us. The burgers were still warm though when we ate them. They mixed our order, wrong french fries type to wrong burgers. Our burgers were drenched in too much sauce (Please do not put too much sauce on the burger, its very wet and the meat taste is not there anymore :( ). Now the best thing is: believe it or not, after we swallowed our last food, this is around 7:20 pm. A waiter came to us and told us, whether we want to order any extra drink, because our table is actually booked at 7:30pm !!! and we should free the table. We told him this is unfair, and we asked for the...

Blonde server was very rude to us. Tried to greet him in Slovakian and he interrupted both me and my partner, had no interest in anything we had to say. I should have walked out there and then but thought I’d give it a shot.
We arrived to an empty restaurant and were forced into the worst seats in the restaurant right by the bar and staff preparing food. Also separate from the other seats.
When I asked could we sit in the middle of the restaurant, as the restaurant was empty and we’d prefer one of those tables, we were told - “you are two, two sit there”.
I thought this was rude, but maybe it was a cultural difference so whatever, we were given a table for two.
Then imagine my surprise, when multiple groups of 2 people, and even 1 person by himself, all arrive and sit at the tables we were denied in the middle of the restaurant right in front of us, one after another.
No restrictions on where they can sit. And they were all Slovakian.
The irony that this is a restaurant selling American style burgers and not native Slovakian food seems to be lost on this waiter and the people working there, not surprising.
Next time, just tell me at the door you don’t want me to come in - I could have got a better burger at McDonald’s and not had to put up with this sh*t attitude and average food drenched in sauce.
The result was we felt completely unwelcome. If this server had visited my town I would have made him feel welcome and probably invite him for a cup of tea or coffee.
Thanks for making us...
Read moreI’m not even a fan of burgers, actually far from a burger eater tbh. We were looking for some casual quick lunch after Sunday shopping and we spotted this restaurant on google with whopping 4.8 stars from over 5000 people, so we gotta give it a go. And it did not disappoint. My partner was uber happy and instantly fell in love with his El Gringo burger. The beef pattie was juicy as how medium-rare meat should be. The seasoning was about right, not too overwhelming. Mine was Vig Mac. As always, I didn’t expect much from a veggie burger. Yet, it turned out to be really really good. The buns, the pattie and the crunch were working beautifully together. But I could still smell a little beef in it, likely from the fat that oozed from the beef patties. Would be a lot better if they fry the veggie pattie in an entirely different pan. Our least favorite was the fries. They were a bit on the dry side, and the rosemary kind of stole the show. Would be more enjoyable with less rosemary for me. Service was nice, even though we waited over 10 mins for our order. The vibe was good in general, but it could get quite loud. If I were a burger lover, I’d definitely put Roxor on my...
