HOTEL CENTER BOHINJ LAKE - SLOVENIA — Hotel in Bohinj

Positive: We stayed in a double room with balcony. The room was clean and spacious with a separate sitting room and bedroom and the location was close to Lake Bohinj and the Lake Bohinj bus stop.||||Negative: It was extremely hot during our stay from 22nd to 24th July, 2019 and despite the price that the hotel charges for the room, they do not have any air conditioning or fan in the rooms. It was unbearably hot inside the rooms and we could not sleep all night. We requested the hotel staff several times to provide us at least a fan but they simply refused our request without even making an attempt to check if a fan was possible. A fan would cost about 20 EUR and surely the hotel can do this much for its guests during a time of crisis for the money it charges. ||The staff just told us to open the windows in the evening and "adjust" to the heat!!! ||This of course did not help at all, opening the windows did not bring any relief from the heat and instead caused a lot of insects to fly inside the rooms in the evening!!! ||||We could not sleep for 2 nights.||||By the way, during the same trip we stayed in an even cheaper place in Bled where it was similarly hot and they provided us a fan even without having to ask for it!!!||||As a result of our stay in Hotel Center Bohinjsko Jezero under the above conditions, I fell sick and the remainder 1 week of our holiday in Slovenia and Italy was ruined which also cost us a lot of money.||||I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel for staying during summer unless they make arrangements for an air conditioning or fan...
