The food was amazing, but the service was so abhorrent I cannot reasonably give more than one star. Now before you call me harsh, hear me out.
After ordering - and really enjoying - the food from Pod Skalco we requested the bill. instead of the bill we were presented a card machine to pay. After I had payed the waiter walked away. I had to call after him to receive the bill, which was just the copy for the card holder, not the actual breakdown of costs. This receipt held a surprise. The total price was roughly 10% more than what we actually ordered. So apparently this place expects tips, which is far from common practice in the region, the country and largely the entire continent. I wouldn't have minded tipping if asked, because the food was good after all, but without communicating the fact that tips are included in the final price, this practice comes down to altering the price of something after an order has been placed based on menu prices. In other words....theft.
If you want to have good food but be robbed afterwards, this is the place for you. But with so many other great choices around the corner, I'd say save yourself the frustration and seek out a more...

The next time the waiter found time to address us he did not even bother to ask if we would like some drinks first, so we kindly proposed this ourselves. The cappuccino we had was only lukewarm. For dinner we had pizza and a salad. The pizzas are average at best and the salad, the one with smoked trout, was served with only a few small bites of said trout. The fries we ordered as a side dish were undercooked and not even hot to the touch. The service continued to be poor at best during the whole time we were there. We were left sitting without drinks for quite some time, untill we asked for the bill. All and all I think there is quite some room for improvement and I would not go there when expecting a pleasant...
Read moreThe restaurant is at the bottom of the cliff, just across the road with a beautiful view of the lake. It’s close to the hotels and parking lot, but still hidden away enough to feel much less crowded. We were served by Boris, who was super friendly and efficient. Seating is only on the terrace, which was perfect for a summer evening. Calm, pleasant, and with a great atmosphere. The food was excellent. I had the local specialty, Ćevapčiči with kajmak, and I highly...
