First thing to say is that the location of this property could hardly be better: just one street back from the seafront. However, some confusing street numbering made it a little difficult to find. It's number 21, but forget that and just look for the 'Park' restaurant on the same street: the accommodation is right above it. On that note, the smells from the kitchen do make their way into the corridors of the property, but NOT the rooms!||||As for the room we stayed in: really nice. It was quite spacious with a large double bed, a small table with two chairs, and air-conditioning. The ensuite bathroom, on the other hand, was oddly divided: a large shower took up most of the room, leaving the sink and toilet area a little cramped. Not an issue, but something to think about if you're larger than average! I'm not big (about 6ft and 12st) but couldn't move freely...||||On another note, the accommodation is not staffed. Before arrival, you are emailed a door code that is active for the duration of your stay. ||||In summary, I'd say that this place is great for a short stay, but you might want to look elsewhere if you were going to be here longer...
Read moreWe slept here 1 night and this is more like an AirBnb than a hotel as you never actually see anyone. You are sent a door code to get into the building and your room.||The location is ace as it’s right in the heart of Piran. Note that you cannot access the hotel (not most of Piran) via car as it’s a pedestrian street.||We had a room on the top floor with a terrace. The terrace was nice but could do with a light as it gets dark so early after the clocks change.||The room and bathroom are exceptionally clean which I we really liked and the bed was comfy although another set of pillows would be good.||However one thing that was not really acceptable is the low ceiling on the top floor. You can only stand in the walkway part and at night both myself and my hubby hit our heads on the way to the bathroom. It’s quite dangerous particularly for tall people like us. We couldn’t even open the door fully as it would hit the ceiling. That was a real shame.||However, I would stay here again if it was not on...
Read moreI only spent one night in Piran and chose Hotel Piranika because of the location close to the ocean and it was perfect. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The bathroom is very small but I can understand this in an old building like that. Airconditioning worked well, Wifi didn't. There is no staff there. I received an e-mail with my room number and door code. The e-mail also gave me the necessary information about parking and how to reach the hotel. I was very happy with the room, the location and the restaurant downstairs. I parked my car in Arze garage and it took me about 15-20 minutes to walk to the hotel. I very much liked the style of the room and the staircase. I...
