10/10 beautiful guest house in East London with such kind, generous owners! I must say, I normally don't have good experiences in East London, but the drive here is calm and pretty, and the room itself is a treat. Had a comfortable bed, a lovely bathroom, a kitchenette (with a lovely selection of teas and coffees), beautiful decor, and free Wifi! :) Everything is very clean and tidy. If you are looking for accommodation in East London for a night or few, do consider Hampton Rose...

This place is really great. Nice and cosy with full DSTV, which is nice. Comfy rooms full of nice eye candy. Coleen and Johnny go out of their way to make you comfortable. Best is the filer coffee and the French press in the rooms. Breakfast was really good too. It's nicely situated so you have access to many areas of East London. Also...

I travel frequently, staying at similar facilities around SA. Once I find a 'gem' like Hampton Rose, I don't ever bother trying different venues. I can recommend this stay without any hesitation.
