Nobis House Guest House — Hotel in Free State

Kelly is such an amazing host! She was soo sweet from when I sent an email to book and was soo patient with me when I asked to adjust my booking and then changed it again. She dealt with me so so kindly and communicated effectively. When we arrived, oh wow we recieved the warmest welcome ever! She made sure we were all comfortable with our rooms as far as making sure my 12 year old niece was also comfortable.

I will however note that there was a certain staff memeber who was not so kind and gossiped about me to her friend over the phone in my presence thinking I don't understand her. She made me uncomfortable everytime I'd see her. Just a side note to make the staff memebers/cleaners not to gossip about Guests in our presence. I dealt with it by shoving it under the carpet but other people might have dealt with it differently.

Other than that everything was a 5 star experience 😊 Nobis guest House is beautiful, clean and has Kelly who is the frosting and cherry ontop...

We were passing for an overnight stay, made telephonic arrangements and even conversed on wasap with the receptionist I believe he said he is his name is Alex. I asked him to include supper on the quote before payment when I was confirming my arrival its a business trip and the the stay was olready paid for,he told me supper wasn't included. He confirmed he oversaw the message I find it unprofessional cos I repeatedly asked him to check my requirements as this was gona be paid by the company once it's paid,one cant add anything. I am really dissatisfied and angry.

I felt he was not even empathetic and acknowledging his mistake, worse very unprofessional.

House owner please deal with him accordingly as we don't want such service to be repeated...

I spoke to the owner when booking, we discussed every little detail. she promised to give me a family room, which is spacious with kitchenette, etc, and has direct access to the pool to relax by. What a shock when we arrived, we were given a room with a small dark bathroom en tiny shower. When I complained, I were told that there was a crises with the other room. I WOULD NEVER HAVE STAYED THERE IF I KNEW. We were extremely uncomfortable and cramped. No towel rail in bathroom, nowhere to put anything. no kitchenette, nowhere to put a suitcase. dark and dingy. This was without fail the worst experience I have ever had in...
