inawestays — Hotel in Gardens

We stayed in the Garden cottage with our son and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by Doreen on arrival accompanied by Ginger (her dog) and Max (her cat). While we were shown to our cottage our 2 year old ran around the garden and became friends with Ginger and Max. ||The cottage itself was great, beautifully designed and with everything you need. They had even left us a delicious platter of cold meats, pates, fresh bread, fruits and a bottle of wine. ||Once we had settled in one of the staff brought us up a large box of lego and duplo for our son to play with. ||The gardens are beautiful with great views over Cape town and with a pool to relax in once you have done some sight seeing. ||InAweStays is perfectly placed for getting to the waterfront, table mountain, kirstenbosch gardens. While nearby on Kloof street there are many good restaurants, cafes and bars just a wander away. ||The staff are great, with Robert cooking pizzas on the wood fired pizza oven, including a pizza making lesson for our son; while Ellen is happy to Babysit if you do have kids and fancy a night out. ||They have different sized units depnding on what you need and all of they are beutifully decorated. All are supplied with carefully chosen local teas, coffees and rusks. It is the little touches that put InAwestays above other places we stayed in.||We have already recommended it to friends with and without kids and we are looking forward to going back when we are next...

They are incredibly accommodating and will go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. We got there quite late and tired and found delicious complimentary snacks and drinks, the wifi worked smoothly and we had the best night rest in days. Your home away from home. A beautiful gem in the Gardens of Capetown.|The great house consists of several flats and rooms. We had booked the cottage. A super sweet one bedroom with own patio, but since it was low season we were offered the Loft. A stunning one bedroom flat with spectacular views towards Tafelberg and space to move around in. Of course we accepted the generous offer. Robert was our gracious host for a week. It has a fantastic location to many shops and restaurants and cafes. We brought our own car and we parked on the street. No problems or parking fees. We were welcomed with delicious treats and wine on arrival. I found a friend in Ginger, the house dog and we enjoyed lots of walks in the neighbourhood. Quite safe to walk around the area morning and night.
