Mount Sierra — Hotel in Gardens

My experience at the Mount Sierra cafe was highly disappointing, I came from an amazing spa treatment for the meal which was included in the packaged I purchased to which I received an incorrect meal and when asking to have it changed, I got a bad attitude and disrespectful comments from the woman, Shalom who works in the cafe in which she raised her voice and disrespectfully said “it was the spa’s fault” and asking why should she correct the order if it wasn’t correctly specified by the spa. The situation escalated, this being in front of my daughter and my husband as well as multiple people coming in to the hotel and in the cafe, when asking to see any sort of management staff it was said “they were not there” and when the spa staff as well as hotel staff attempted to defuse the situation because everyone was visibly uncomfortable and unpleasant, Shalom was asked to apologise and refused multiple times and proceeded to ask “why must I apologise to her, I did nothing wrong”. I proceeded to record with intent to forward to management and inform them about the matter, she then proceeded to aggressively walk up to me and attempt to grab my phone, in front of my family, staff and others. A Truly Indulgent Escape at LaVita Spa, Mount Sierra! My recent visit to LaVita Spa at Mount Sierra in Gardens with my wife was an absolutely blissful and romantic experience! From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, and the spa receptionist, Vuvu, was a lifesaver, swiftly booking us into a slot even though we had no reservation. Our full-body massage with hot stones was pure heaven, especially as winter approaches – the perfect way to melt away any tension! The spa room itself was perfectly set up for relaxation: dimmed lighting created a romantic ambiance, the aircon kept us perfectly cozy, and soothing music played softly in the background. Our masseuses were not only friendly but also exceptionally skilled, ensuring we felt completely pampered. The indulgence continued with the complimentary treats! The welcome drinks were delightful, but the food from the hotel's chef was truly outstanding. My burger was wonderfully tasty and juicy, but my wife's wrap was simply next-level – probably one of the best wraps we've had in Cape Town! While there's a lovely shared pool available, do note that shower facilities aren't on-site at the spa. Absolutely Exceptional – A True Home Away from Home! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff at this hotel are truly in a league of their own – friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. It felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed by family.

Every interaction, from the front desk to housekeeping, was marked by kindness and professionalism. They remembered our names, offered great local tips, and were always ready to assist with anything we needed – no request was ever too big or too small.

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and you can tell that the staff take great pride in making sure every guest feels comfortable and valued. It’s rare to find a place where the service feels so personal and heartfelt.

If you’re looking for a place where you're treated like more than just a guest, this hotel is it. I can't recommend it enough – 10/10 across the board! Thank you to the amazing team for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!
