The Location was excellent,
The rooms , we had problems with the mattresses for 2 months. Told for 2 months every Monday they would attend to the cleaning of the curtains and replacement of mattresses.
Instead a video of a cleaning in a separate unit was Sent to me. I actually left the premises for this activity promised by facilities manager. Then I get back and I must take that mattress down . Me and help from security.
There are NO prices pasted or on display in reception area. The other Mints Sandton View and Melrose display it. This caused a huge problem and the realization that nobody is aware of prices 3 managers. 2 Hosts later nobody could quite the Same price. This is unacceptable. How can your staff in this industry display arrogance , display non accountability and don't provide a guest with peace of mind in this industry at that price.
You own the building , you have 2 generator running or 3 that is for the businesses that also pay rent to you. There is no business man that is going to invest in generator whilst renting that is the Landlord job. Then at your price you look at profitability instead of providing peace of mind as per Tourism Guests are to have constant supply of electricity.
The issues of power lights I had to wait for and beg. Because due to Eskom there was no electricity most of the time everyone knows how bad schedule was. Still expected to pay full price.
Then constantly having to do your property manager job. I went to Kathrine and nobody is prepared for meeting.
I was contacted by SAPS instead. That was very disrespectful.
Connect your generators to power the guests as well . The payments or price charged is paid take Diesel money from there. Poor service will result in no guests and no guests is bad business. So Bee and guys thanks for the stay. But i had to point these things out.

Read moreWell, from what I booked, it was supposed to be a 2-bedroom apartment. However, I was given a 1bed (Room.303), and when I went down to enquire, the reception lady wasn't helpful and blamed it on the app. Then I had to ask for a wifi password, which I would have assumed you would be given at reception. I ordered something, and when I went down to get it, the same reception lady gave me a bit of attitude when asking her how to open the main door so I could collect. Now I'm not normally one to complain, but I guess she didn't realise she was dealing with a person who has worked over 15 years in reservations, and I am very much aware of how OTAs work. I am still very upset about the wrong room choice I was given and made to feel like I'm the one who made an error. Then there was NO iron and hairdryer in the room. Apparently, they don't have any available from what I gathered from the housekeeping lady.Besides that, the housekeeping lady was exceptional, and the apartment was very clean upon check-in. there is NO instruction about where to park or how to get into the property with a car. We ended up driving around trying to park until a car guard let us know what to do. The lady at reception was also dismissive and unhelpful
The rooms were incredibly disappointing. The TV in the room had NO chords? So how does once watch it. It was purely decoration. There was no hair dryer which is a standard in B&Bs. The floors and sinks were dirty. The shower didn’t drain fully either. Our towels had stains on as well. There was no bath mat either - so we had to use a towel to stop us from slipping
Also incredibly noisy. The first night there were people outside our room drinking and smoking hubbly(hookah) until all hours of the morning
Kitchen was poorly stocked as well for a long stay apartment. No drying rack for dishes or sponge to clean dishes.
