The Fussy Vegan Greenside — Restaurant in Gauteng

Update: Service is slow, the display fridge top shelf is empty,my urban go tasted like chemicals maybe from cleaning, it took long to make because of other burger orders. Something has changed. The delivery driver is a creep ,nope I’m good, no longer going back. I did confront the driver but as a woman it’s enough for me to not return respectfully. Ladies don’t become friendly with him once you think it’s ok to break the physical barrier he will try kiss you my idiot mistake was greeting because I haven’t been at the shop in a very long time we’ve never hugged I was a regular and would sit with my friend. Until today I remembered why I never broke the physical barrier. Never Let your guard down. Plus a bad tasting burnt burger no thank you. The atmosphere is dull, happy I found alternatives.

I had my favorite burger here (The Jalapeno burger) and I enjoyed the burger although it was not as saucy I would come back again and try other things. I'm very sorry to have to give a less than positive review for one of the rare vegan restaurants in Johannesburg, as I truly want to support vegan businesses. However, I was quite disappointed with our visit to The Fussy Vegan. We tried various items: two large portions of fries, a breakfast bowl, a chimichanga, a salad, drinks, and dessert. Despite the place being empty and seemingly no Uber orders to fulfill, we had to wait for quite a while - which was somewhat okay, as we understand that can happen. Then, the food arrived COLD. I've never experienced fries being served cold before. Everything else was also cold except for the chimichanga.

This was very disappointing, especially considering the price (over 500 Rand) and the fact that it's a fast-food style place with counter service, not a full-service restaurant. The Kombucha (from Twiins) was very delicious, and the Walnut Fudge was incredibly tasty; I would definitely order the...

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Werner and the The Fussy Vegan team for hosting us today. The service was excellent and the food just outstanding as alway😘👌 This is by far my favourite Gourmet Vegan take-away and restaurant.

Some of their most popular meals include the Tofu Facon Sub (my Fav😋💦) Seitan Strib BGR (my Fav😋💦) Breakfast Burrito, Tofu Buddha Bowl, Loaded Macs, and their Texan Chimichanga, a gluten free burger and bowl options 💯... And get this, they also have a Loyalty program 👏💃 What I love about TFV is their quality seeded buns and rolls, super fresh crisp Lettuce, droolcious coleslaw & sauces and superior quality seitan meals. It's a 10/10 for me... And you know... I'm a Fussy Vegan...
