Licorna Beach Holiday Apartments — Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal

The good parts -

Over all it was pretty fine. The manager is very kind and understanding as well as very concerning when we have issues. We reported 3 issues and left to get lunch when we came back all 3 of our issues were fixed. The security guards are really good they are kind and nice when they need to but they can also be serious when its needed.The view is spectacular and I can see a lovely view of the beach obviously depending on which floor you were on.I was on the fifth floor and saw a good view of the beach and pool.The people that help clean your room are very kind and helpful.

The bad parts -

They stated they had wifi and apparently they had wifi about 4 months ago but as of right now (26 March 2019) they do not have wifi yet. The parking area is not painted or taken care of at all to be honest and stone pillars are quite hard to get your vehicle though but that's not something they can really fix.I had said before that the security guards are good but when we had a fairly big issue and he needed to call his superiors they had NEVER arrived to help him (this was about 8 PM). The rooms can maybe have a few more towels for the residents. I understand this hotel isn't a 5 star expensive hotel but I think they should give you a few more options for TV as they only allow you to watch a few popular channels (Not Alot but a...

Recently stayed at lacorna to find that the pictures online are not actually what the apartments are , in the 7 days we stayed there we experienced no air conditioning when it was stated there was no WiFi when stated as well , the main bedrooms bathroom didn’t have a door and the guest Bathroom door was a hassle to unlock and the balcony’s light was broken as we arrived ,the service was shocking when the manager barged into our room at 7 telling us to get out before 10:30 also the main think there beach gate is locked with a chain so if you are hoping to go to the beach you will have to walk around the whole apartment block out the main gate and to the beach . Honestly for what we paid we were expecting a lot more will certainly not recommend or stay there and the apartments...

Stayed there from 26 April until 02 May in apartment number 43. It was a three bedroom. The place is spacious but very neglected. Only one shower for an 8 sleeper unit even though it is a place that has two bathrooms. The kitchen cutlery is the bare minimum and the basics like a grater and tea strainer not available. The frying pan is rusted and upon arrival the place was not cleaned and still had a damp smell from been locked up. There were no towels available and we needed to ask a few times for towels. There is no rack to hang up your beach towels or washing. The bedding does not get changed unless you ask. Overall I would not recommend this place and staff not...
