Staff that was on the last shift was extremely rude and unhelpful.I was staying at the Pearls Hotel Umhlanga and decided to go for an ice-cream to Milky lane,I reached there about 15 minutes before closing and the staff that was on shift replied in a disrespectful manner saying we are closed and no orders are allowed to be taken.I then told her that the store only closes at 9pm but the staff on shift denied it and said that I am wrong,I then opened the website on Google and proved to her that they close at 9pm but when she saw this and was embarrassed and just started ignoring us ,very very bad experience and would recommend to go early or rather stay and not even make an...

We arrived at 9pm and walked along from the lighthouse on a Saturday night. The lady who served us was extremely rude. We were still deciding what we wanted and she said make fast because we close at 9. I said sorry and placed my order. She charged me for sugar cones but gave me plain cones which were stale. One broke and she had to double cone it and said it was a mistake. I told her about the order and she said she can't change it. She was so rude to us but served many people after who were white and were kind to them. I guess she was racist. Very bad service. All my friends and family will not be going there and I have a vast number if them. Really...

We absolutely loved our experience at Milky Lane in uMhlanga Sands! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, Bongeka and Jovani welcoming, and full of energy. The service was fast, the atmosphere was bright and fun, and the desserts… absolutely divine! 🍦✨

The waffles were golden and crispy, the milkshakes rich and creamy, and the toppings were generous and creative. Everything tasted fresh and indulgent — exactly what you’d want from a sweet escape by the beach.
