Stayed at the nelspruit lodge from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. Check in was at 2, went there at 12:30 they said they were fully booked the night before so they couldn't help us earlier so we went to the mall close by and ate then came back at 2. Got our keys, the rooms were comfortable, both aircon and fans were working, the bed was quite hard so if you're used to a soft bed that won't be advised. The rooms were clean and were cleaned daily, I liked that the towels and bedding were clean and coffee and tea was available in the room. There was a sitting area outside the rooms for all rooms on that floor, that was quite nice. There wasn't much noise apart from the 1 night I was fast asleep and there are signs to say keep noise down after a certain time but there was quite a bit of noise upon a group of peoples entry passed midnight. Nonetheless the rest of the stay was good. The aircon was such a help and so was the location cause we were not too far from the mall. I also liked that when I needed an iron, the receptionist assisted us and gave us the iron and the ironing board. Apparently there's self catering rooms but we never opted for those. There was breakfast available at R160 if im not mistaken per person but that was out of our budget so we just bought food from the restaurants at the mall. Nevertheless it was a good stay, clean rooms, good service and overally was...

Centrally located, a couple of minutes from town, spacious rooms with little kitchen, fridge and crookery and cutlery, feels like self-catering. bathrooms are large and well-equipped, big shower and a jacuzzi, makes this place good value for money however I cant help thinking all the flaws when it comes to the small things, there is no cupboard for your cloths in the room, there is this wooden thing standing with 2 robes hanging and TV on top, I don't think the person designed this layout was specialized in hotel interior for sure. than there is the second most important thing in the room, having a cup of coffee, the first thing you do when you get to a room, they have cups literally 2 inches in size, you can't steer your coffee, they spent so much on top quality equipment only to mess on small things, they should have mugs. The worst thing is the breakfast, for some reason, they decided not to provide real juice, its that cheap flavored fake juice and the sugar concentration is out of the chart. Cutting corner on smaller things is ok to keep the cost down but not food, its a health problem and I don't thing they should continue providing the flavored concentrated juice at the breakfast, this could have serious consequences if a diabetic person happen...

On the day of my arrival, I found a friendly receptionist who was willing to assist and the check in process was easy and fast. The allocated parking was right next to my room, and it was very convenient as I did not have to walk a distance carrying my luggage from where I parked to my room. I went into my room, and everything was clean and well organised. The TV signal was good and I enjoyed watching the programs. The WIFI was also connecting simply fine. The only thing I did not like is the fact that the room did not have a carpet, especially now that it is winter, and the tile was very cold. The bathroom also did not have the carpet either. On the shower only the hot water tap worked properly, and the cold water was not easy to control and there was no bathtub in case I did not want to shower. During a dinner I ordered a well-done steak, and the chefs served a half-done steak and when I cut it was still bloody inside. I complaint and then they apologised and gave me what I ordered. In the morning I went for breakfast, and I pressed cappuccino from the coffee machine, but only black coffee came out and then I notified a chef in charge, they apologised and prepared a...

Beautiful rooms but terrible service. The attitude you get when checking in,it’s like you owe them something and so you have to beg. They just give you the keys and room number then you will be searching for the room on your own. Oh yeah they also don’t allow sleeping over visitors. We are adults after all, whoever th at came with that rule must be really crazy. I would have understood if they say not more than one sleepover visitor. I will NEVER again sleep there.
