La Baleine — Hotel in Saldanha Bay Local Municipality

From the warm welcome at reception, right through to the smallest detail being catered for at La Baleine, the exper6was phenomenal. The unit has literally everything you'll need to be a home away from home. Moses, was absolutely friendly and so accomodating. Tarryn, was just as friendly & helped us get the best fish! Thank you so much to her. The people are friendly and welcoming. Area is safe thou you need to be aware of some things, but staff explain it all to you. Definitely a 5 star rating because the unit was in perfect condition, updated appliances to cater to your every need. Dont get me started on the views, breathtaking is an understatement....you wake up to the sound of the waves crashing..so idyllic. From our unit we had a partial sea view, but it was enough to still love the sea even more. I'll definitely come back due to excellent hospitality, amazing views and even better fish!!!!! We stayed in Studio 2 at La Baleine a lovely cosy cottage for two with a sea view and two patio/decks very private and quiet and peaceful. We were thrilled when we arrived and were welcomed warmly by Moses so much so we booked an extra night straight away! The cottage was light, bright and modern and everything had been thought through so well it was like home from home but in the very quaint seaside village of Paternoster just across the road from the small Waterfront area with restaurants and shops. The kitchen was so well equipped, the lounge very comfortable with wonderful TV service, bed extremely comfortable and the spacious rain shower absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed a magical 3-night stay at La Baleine in Nassau A. There's absolutely nothing to complain about it, everyone was perfect. Moses' swift and friendly hand-off of the keys set the tone for the stay. The seaview was heavenly and the location great, overlooking the ocean and a 1-minute walk from the beach. The Crayfish Wharf is close-by where there are about 4 restaurants to choose from. The accommodation itself had everything we needed for a seamless self-catering stay. I really appreciated the little things like matches to start the fire, a filter coffee machine, little sprigs of lavendar on the duvet and more than enough dishwashing tablets for our stay.
