This is a charming classic-ly appointed resort offering high end evening dining and family style buffet/eggs to order breakfast. They partner with local tours and activities offering full, half day, and at-your-own pace assortment, including rental bikes. Most activities center around the wine tasting. The train tour combining the greatest array. As for me I liked the Paarl tour which has wine, beer (CBC) and chocolate tastings wrapping it up with a decent restaurant on premises. The staff of the guesthouse were extremely helpful, kind, gracious, with an honest smile on their face and a heartfelt greeting. The rooms are large and handsomely appointed, not missing a trick and adding a few you might not expect. Like a double level suitcase shelf across from the closet with the bottom, pullout. The guesthouse manager was always within arms reach morning noon and night making any special requests, curiosities, or complements easy to offer. If you are interested in a quant, charming, full service hotel nestled in the most beautiful wine valley in the world this...

My husband and I spent a few days here for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! The staff members provided the best service I’ve ever received at a hotel. Always eager to help and drive us to our destinations. Extremely friendly and helpful and I would leave them 6 stars if I could! They are the definition of above and beyond customer service. They arranged so much for us and always made sure we were having a great experience. They make every person here feel special and welcomed.

The entire resort’s curb appeal was gorgeous and always clean. We stayed in their Villa and it was exceptional. The location is also great! Just a short couple minutes drive to the Franschhoek Wine Trams and downtown Franschhoek.

The food was amazing (some of the best food we’ve had) we rarely wanted to eat outside of the resort! person here feel special and welcomed.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Franschhoek! Thank you for making our...

I cannot say enough good things about this place! They went above and beyond, and they even have a shuttle service that takes guests into town and fetches. The villa we stayed in was truly gorgeous, sumptuous and more than I could have dreamt of. The only one thing that puzzled me (and I am being really fussy now) is that the room had a queen bed instead of a king. For such a huge space, with an upstairs lounge too, I did wonder why not have a king bed? The bathroom had his and hers basins, and everything was amazing. The turn down service was excellent. The staff were SO friendly and welcoming and wonderful which makes all the difference! I would highly recommend this place! Sadly we were only there two nights, I would have loved a longer stay as we didn't even get time to enjoy the pools (one of which is heated and we didn't even know until...

Franschhoek, If I had to choose only one place to go in Cape Town, after surfing along Blouberg Beach, I would spend the rest of my time in Franschhoek #SoGood reminded me of my holiday's in Europe... Franschhoek is a small town in the Western Cape Province and one of the oldest towns in South Africa. It was formerly known as Oliphants hoek... The French corner of the Cape, Franschhoek lies in one of the most beautiful wine valleys in the world, just 45 minutes' from Cape Town... The word 'Franschhoek' is a direct Dutch translation for 'French Corner'. Steeped in history the valley was originally settled in 1688 by French Huguenot refugees who brought with them their age-old French wine and food culture. Had an amazing day on Sunday for Bastele celebrations in Franschhoek... https://www.franschhoekbastille.co.za/
