Franschhoek Village House — Hotel in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

We enjoyed a marvelous weekend getaway at Franschhoek Village House. Communication with our host, Candice was super easy. This ensured that check-in was a breeze and we were settled in without any trouble. The home is a wonderful two story house. The house has a modern, warm and open feeling that just encourages you to enjoy it. The open plan kitchen is well laid out and well equipped, ready should you wish to pop something in the oven or make breakfast. The quality finishing extends to the lovely sitting area with a fireplace and the living room table that can seat up to 8 people. Two sets of patio doors lead to an undercover braai area and lovely outside lounge area that is right next to the pool. The undercover braai area was really nice as it started to rain the Saturday evening and we could just enjoy our braai while the rain was pouring. Upstairs there are three en-suite bedrooms while the master bedroom has a walk-in closet and patio. The house has an electric gate and alarm that you can switch on when you leave for the day and when you go to bed at night. Franschhoek Village House is really well priced, as all the other places we looked at gave a cold and sterile feeling while at Franschhoek Village House we enjoyed coming back after a day in the vineyards.
