As accommodation goes, no complaints. ||But, as I was attending an all day conference, I was looking forward to a light breakfast, some yoghurt and perhaps some cheese helpfully provided as part of one’s stay. ||The cheese, however, appears to be Melrose slices. You know, the kind that get individually wrapped, are this glistening plastic colour and tend to get advertised as “CHEESE FLAVOURED FOOD PRODUCT”. |This confused me, since my fellow guests did not appear to be 8 years old and using said cheese to pack a school lunch. ||I believe the cheese to be so cheap and processed that it’s entirely impossible that it would be inedible even to Americans. ||So, in closing, if you plan to stay, see if you can smuggle some cheddar in...

Read moreThe room was not prepared at all. We came in while it was load shedding, we complained about no toilet paper and coffee. They provided that after the complaint. Only the next morning did we realize the bed was never given new sheets after the previous guests left. The floor was sticky and not cleaned, there was still some cheese on the floor in the bathroom. Coffee stains on the bedding and hair in the bed. The hotel is really well situated and the lady at the front very friendly, but it is managed very poorly. The carpet floor where you eat breakfast is dirty and full of stains and crumbs !
Rather skip Hotel Krige for a place that is well...
