I had the loveliest stay at this traditional Korean hanok, owned by a kind and caring grandma who truly made us feel at home. The space was simple, clean, and cozy — just the right size for a local homestay experience. It’s not luxurious, but it’s full of heart and warmth.
The floor is heated which is good especially if you are sleeping on the floor (not the most comfortable if you are not used to it / a city dweller). Everything we needed was provided — a mattress, blanket, and pillow for a restful night. In the morning, grandma greeted us with freshly brewed coffee and tea, and even prepared delicious sandwiches and red bean pancakes with such love and care. The room also had a smart TV with Netflix, which was a nice touch for winding down in the evening. The location is also good - walking distance to the jeonju cathedral and to the Hanok village.
