This guest house is located near most tourist attractions. The rooms where nice and tidy. Nothing special fairly basic but it all worked, something cheaper rooms often lack. The beds are standard as in not as soft as a Western bed. But if you want that you should expect to pay triple in Korea.||What stood out to me, was that the staff was extra nice. The owner spoke relatively good English and offered us a ride to the hannok village in his car. He showed us where we could find most interesting hot spots there. His wife offered us some fruit when we came back from exploring Wich was super sweet of her, probably not standard so please don't expect this from them. ||The breakfast was also different from what I've had in most guestshouses.|They serve breakfast tacos every morning, a nice change from kimchi and rice most Korean breakfasts includes. They also offered raw eggs, toast and some kitchen supplies to bake them. ||I definitely recommend this guest house to everyone. Not only budget travelers. It's all you need. And the staff can really help you with some recommendations for stuff to eat and do. Something some more expensive places can't offer because of the language barrier. ||If we're ever back in Jeonju, we...
ย ย ย Read moreI got here pretty late, but for being past 11pm, the manager at the front lobby still mustered up enough energy to be a sort of town ambassador and tell me about all the local amenities and restaurants around. Even let me know if I hit up certain spots and showed them a card of the hostel, that they'd give a discount. That was really great, but honestly, I was ready to go to sleep. lol! Still, wonderful service, nonetheless! The rooms aren't the most quietest. I can still hear the noise from out in the halls, and if the train passes by, it's still audible. Not enough to prevent me from sleeping, but still noise nonetheless. I really do like the fact that private rooms are available, and best of all, a kitchen at the bottom, with coffee, milk, juice, and bread slices with strawberry jam or butter spread for breakfast. I really can't complain! Best of all, the strawberry jam packets make it convenient to just spread on the bread without the use of a knife! To top it all off, the microwave in the kitchen is good, so if you buy something at the convenience store, you can bring it back here, and warm it up. I honestly feel like the owners of this place really put some heart and effort into running it almost like...

The room was great, featuring a TV, a mini fridge and a spacious bathroom stocked with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes. We visited during winter and the room was wonderfully warm, creating the perfect retreat from the cold. We even had the opportunity to prepare our own breakfast - eggs, bread, butter, jam, coffee and milk. To top it off, I did my laundry there, which was incredibly convenient. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Heโs genuinely one of the kindest Koreans Iโve met during my trip.
