Nov 2024 We’re here again after 1 year! Galbi tasted exactly the same as what we’ve had before. Delicious!

Nov 2023 Delicious Jeonju’s style Mulgalbi restaurant. Galbi cooked in favourful broth with soybean bean sprouts. We couldn’t speak any Korean and the owners couldn’t speak any English. However they are so welcoming and friendly. The moment a staff showed us to our table, an old granny, which I think is the owner, immediately put a pot with heaps of stuffs on top of the stove in front of us. They used hand gestures to show us what to do and how to eat. It seems like the restaurant doesn’t has a menu as it only serve 1 dish. The size of the pot depends on the number of people we have. Price is by person. Not sure if the staff cooks for everyone but the friendly staff helped us cook so we don’t have to worry about cooking the wrong way. The mulgalbi was super delicious! Just like home-cooked food. We didn’t want to waste the soup so we use the Google translate to order a steamed rice. Had the rice wine, Makgolli too. Very hearty and satisfying meal. Recommend if you’re visiting Jeonju Hanok Village and wanted to experience Korean home cooked food in a local restaurant. When the restaurant has majority of locals dining you know the food is good and reasonable priced. Just walk in, greetings, hand gesture the number of people, sit...
