The only advantage of staying at this hotel is embedded in the name, it’s central to everywhere we wanted to be. This is not a touristy area, and the facilities reflect the local culture. It’s an area that houses the majority of the renowned colleges in S. Korea. Therefore, it is filled with great hole-in-the-wall restaurants, dive bars, and authentic pojangmacha where the vendors do not speak English, which we definitely enjoyed!||Now, the cons:|Brown Suites does NOT offer amenities of neither an apartment nor a hotel. Your room is cleaned only 1-2 times a week (although if you ask nicely, they will clean your room after 2 nights). The unit we stayed in, for a family of 3, had a small double bed (the smallest bed out of all the hotels we stayed in), and the layout of the room was awkward. The space was so small that we could barely open the dresser. Also, unlike other apartment-hotels, the unit did not have a dining table nor any dishes, plates or utensils.
