We had a mixed experience during our stay. On the positive side, the unit was well-equipped with a washer and dryer, which was extremely convenient. The property was easy to locate, offered plenty of storage, and even had luggage storage for guests. It’s relatively close to MRT stations, which made getting around the city simple. The on-site staff were polite and helpful during their working hours, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of umbrellas being available for rainy days.
That said, there are some areas that could be improved. When we first arrived, the shower drain was clogged, which caused flooding in the bathroom. While the staff resolved it politely, it was not a pleasant start. Also, staff are only available from 10am–9pm, so there is no support outside of those hours if you need assistance.
More importantly, we had an unfortunate situation after checkout. We accidentally left about $300 worth of items in one of the top cabinets. We contacted the hotel the following afternoon, but received inconsistent responses. First, we were told the housekeeper cleaned the room after we left, was supposed to check drawers and take photos, but nothing was reported. Then, we were told it wasn’t possible to check the room because a long-term guest was already staying there. Later, we received a photo of an empty cabinet along with the explanation that they can’t open every drawer while a guest is present, and again, that the housekeeper didn’t report anything. Which is confusing because if it was not possible for them to check while the room is occupied, how did they get to check one drawer and take a photo without checking the others drawers. This left us feeling that either the housekeeper did not thoroughly check the room, or that there are limits to how far staff are willing or able to help.
Overall, while the property has good amenities and polite staff, our experience with the missing items and inconsistent communication was disappointing. If you stay here, I recommend double-checking all cabinets and storage areas...
Read moreWe are glad to choose WecoStay. We initially wanted those hotels near MyeonDong night Market but they were insanely expensive + it's a typical hotel so the space is limited. I came across WecoStay and were pretty much convinced to stay since it's a fully furnished apartment, and the review rating are quite good. Right opposite us there's 7 eleven so its freaking convenient ! They provide toilet paper/kitchen towels, bath towels of different sizes at level 2 for you to replenish. This apartment is so clean that you can be barefooted yet not feeling dirty. The only letdown part was the bathroom, it is quite squeezy. I rather not have the small bath tub as well but over all looks fine and clean.

They reply pretty fast when I want to enquire some things. Easy to check in. We walk over to myeongdong market in 15 to 20 min or bus ride 3 min. Usually air bnb are shared and used by many (inconsiderate) people so the facilities may be spoiled or faulty but not this bnb. The pot and pan are literally brand new better than my home one haha. I believe they are not 1 year in business lol. Keep up the good work, WecoStay team.Hope to be in luck to book you again maybe in...
Read moreBooked thru Agoda for a type C suite.
Came here on the bus from ICN.. Bus 7501 leaves from the airport and drops you off at the chungmuro station daehan theatre bus stop. From there it's an easy 5 min walk to the hotel.
Journey was very easy and took just about 1.3 hours end to end.
However, very disappointed to learn check in time was only 4pm. That is very late considering the sun sets around 5.30p in this autumn season.
Tried asking for an early checkin but was told repeatedly that the hotel is full.
However the good thing is that luggage storage service is provided FOC on check i and check out day.
Another downside is there are only 2 lifts serving more than 15 floors. During peak hours... Long wait times of 5 to 10 mins just to use the small cramped lifts.
Rooms are also small with only queen size bed options being the biggest. It's OK for couples and at most 1 kid. Hard to imagine huge families staying here.
Its quiet which is good.. Can't hear road noise. Shower pressure is adequate and hot enough.
Location is probably the best selling point... There's a CU and 7 11 mart right across the hotel.. And chungmuro and euljiro subway lines are a 5 to 10 min walk away.
Staff response times on Agoda email are very quick which is good since the ground floor check in desk is unmanned (to talk to a human f2f... Go to level 2 where their office is).
Will I stay here again? Probably not. Will try other places with earlier...
