Hotel Lake — Hotel in Seoul

Nothing special here, but a really great location. Breakfast had a really small selection and did officially start at 7.30. I found that a bit late, when I have to go to work and even at 7.35 they just started brewing the coffee and 7.45 I got a cup. ||Checking out was quite strange, since I asked about the bus to the airport the day before. I wanted to pay for the room and for the bus when checking out, so I managed to spend almost all my cash before leaving. Unfortunately I could not pay with my credit card, so I could not get the ticket they sold. Though they took credit card, it HAD to be paid by cash. I found that to be a strange service or actually no service at all. So I missed the bus, because I had to roam the streets for an ATM. ||||It might be standard in Korea, but the bed was so hard that I could only sleep a few hours, before I woke up in pain and had to turn around. Had an amazing week long stay at the lake hotel. Our room faced onto the lotte world lake and had a full bathtub and separate, spacious shower with a great shower head, heated floors(in the bathroom and the bedroom), lots of toiletries and some free bottled water in the mini fridge. The staff are professional, friendly, helpful and accommodating and were able to help us very well in English. The location is great as it is a little less busy than most places - since it is a cross from the lake, which also provides a great view - but is also within an easy 10 minute walk of jamsil and Seokchon Gobun stations, Lotte World, and Lotte Mall, and within a 1 minute walk of a 711 and several restaurants....

Lake Hotel is not a traditional western hotel. It is however extremely comfortable and located in a convenient position close to many restaurants, coffee shops. LOTTE world Theme Park and the New LOTTE Tower Mall.||The rooms are large with vinyl floors (extremely clean) large bathroom bath and separate walk in shower. ||The beds are firm but surprisingly comfortable. Rooms have AC and underfloor heating.||Large LCD TV and good free wifi.||There is hot and cold drinking water on tap with a mini fridge.||Great Hotel right on...
