Charlotte Theater — Attraction in Seoul

I had the pleasure of seeing the American cast of "Dreamgirls" here and it was absolutely fantastic! The cast was beyond talented, and the production values between the lights and the beautiful costumes, were out of this world. The theater was gorgeous and clean, but that staff got a bit pushy when my friend moved over one seat after intermission so her view wouldn't be blocked by the man in front of us anymore. Would have been a 5-star review if it weren't for that rude exchange. All-in-all, a great...

Came to see Phantom of the Opera, a show I know very well.

The theatre was beautifully set up for the show, with plenty of photo ops and a very impressive selection of merchandise. The Europeans could really learn something here!

The performance was excellent, easily in the (respectfully unordered) top 3. Jisoo Sohn's voice is worthy of obsession and I was particularly impressed by Dong Suk Jeon's ability to utilise vocal colour.

Definitely a show...

Theatre experience was as you would expect from a theatre overall but gift shop etiquette needs a lot of work. Seen a performance and came back to purchase merchandise at 7:15pm, waited for 10 minutes without anyone to help me and was then told, at 7:28pm, despite my explaining the situation, that I can't purchase anything for the next hour and a bit because the giftshop only reopens during the intermission. Completely unacceptable...
