the front of the building is like an old shop or disused garage, nothing what you would expect and just a simple small wall plate to say that you have the right place. we arrived early and was hoping to drop our suitcases but could not gain entry through the steel bar security gate and door. the door bell was working but no one answered, we tries the 3 phone numbers we had but all just went into voice mail, in Spanish !. after 20 minutes one of the guests that were staying there came out and told us that there is never anybody there, he had been there for 3 days and not seen anybody !!!!. ho told us to go and see one of the cleaners downstair and let us in, we found and talked (as best we could our spanish is not so good) and she allowed us to leave our bags in an office, the sign on the office said it was open from 9am to 4pm, but of course nobody was there.||when we came back 2 hours later to check in, the same problem, we could not get in. we tried all the numbers again to no avail, we just had to wait for somebody else to leave, thankfully we only had to wait 10 minutes, but this is a worrying time knowing our bags were in the building. finally we found another person, we think a builder that was working on site and he called somebody and gave us a key for the room. that was it !||when we left the next day we saw nobody other that other guests talking about the total lack of any service.||the room itself was good and clean, the beds were very basic but ok. the room at the front was very noisy until 3am due to a bar being close and people drinking outside.||we would recommend this hotel/apartments to anybody due to the total lack of service to which is a miracle to me that it runs at all. there is simply...

I can in no way recommend a stay with this company.
They supplied what is by far the worst professional housing experience I’ve had in Europe. They did not even provide safe accommodation. While I was there, there was a break-in in my apartment whilst I was sleeping. I lost everything. The police report confirmed that the break-in followed through a window in the main door which could be opened from the outside. They also refused to provide the CCTV and did not even change the street-door access code.
Afterwards, they first tried to blame me for the break-in and only after threats of legal action moved me (after 5 nights) to another place and offered a mere 250 EUR apology (whilst not informing me that the new place was 400 EUR cheaper monthly.)
On other issues, the place is a mess as well. There’d often be new arrivals standing in the street when I arrived home after work, asking about check-in possibilities because they were unable to reach the company. I even had to make two requests and wait more than a month for my deposit which they we clearly trying to keep, in spite of all that had happened. It also not true that there is free access to laundry machines. On most weekends, they locked the roof-door to the machine so that only staff had access.
At 1400 EUR/month, this service level is outrageous. The fact that the place is even unsafe makes me write this so that other people might be warned to find...

If you read past reviews you might think people over react, where in actual fact they are not.....||||... yes, reception is useless when you check in or out and probably not around ||... yes, the apartment is not cleaned, no new towels or toilet paper provided ||... yes, their deposit policy is dodge ||... yes, there isn’t enough hot water in the geyser (and I am a guy) ||... yes, the pictures do not reflect the basic under stocked apartments. The item list in fridge is wrong, as well as the amenities. P.s. curtains are optional, so privacy is non-existent.||... yes, YOU WILL BE dinner because of BED BUGS and other insects (i.e. carpet beetle larvae) and ||... yes, if you lucky, you can listen to the rats on the roof all night long.||||When people say the location is good because you close to Las Ramblas or the port etc, my reply is.... Barcelona has an every effective integrated public transport system and two hop-on hop-off tourist bus companies. You are going to use it to see all the other places in Barcelona, so you might as well use it to see Las Ramblas for one day and stay elsewhere in town and save money. Rather stay at the beach and take the underground to see...
