Casette bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

Daytime bff date, table in the plaza, not the cutest location but super chill and nice outdoor seating situation.

Each had a Menu - 2 courses, drink, dessert or coffee And 2 cocktails each - Mezcal Mules 36€ per person, left full and happy

Service was 5million stars. The server/bartender was beyond nice and efficient, spoke Spanish, Catalan and English perfectly.

My friend had Cecina Croquettes, and the Pastrami Sandwich.

I had the Vegan Patatas Bravas. The Bravas sauce was really good and I was happy to see vegan aioli (could have been Hellmans Vegan Mayo, which is the best). Followed by the Patty Melt, which was smashed Beyond Burgers, the best melty vegan cheese I’ve ever had (I typically hate vegan cheese), pickles, all on griddled Pan Cristal. This was THE BEST VEGAN BURGER I’ve ever eaten.

We went there 3 times on our 10 day trip to Barcelona. It was across the park from our hotel so we went there the first night after a long day of traveling and the owner and waitress were both very nice and welcoming. The inside gives a cozy vibe with low lighting. We had the Moscow mule and kept coming back for more - it was made with fresh ginger and the best mule we’ve ever had (although missing the traditional copper mug). The tapas were very good as well as the dessert. There is a little outside patio with some foot traffic, but much less than la rambla nearby. Laura is unique!!!! The food extraordinary!!!! Everything we have tasted was really delicious!!! We had tried the bread with tomato and jamon ( offered by "casa" meaning home) and the mushrooms Then we had the salad with shrimps,mango ,cashews and lettuce really fresh prepared very tasty.
