Hotel Vincci Bit — Hotel in Barcelona

I give a low rating to this hotel, for such reasons :

1. service, I requested early check-in, which they confirmed, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that I will not check in earlier, and check-in at 2. In the end I was checked in at 6 pm. As an apology they gave me a card for a free cocktail, which cannot be used for cocktails, only coffee or prosecco.

2. cleaning ignores the do not disturb sign, they came into my room in the evening without knocking when I was getting ready for bed, in the middle of the room the girl stopped, saw me and said she came in to ask if I liked the cleaning. I can't complain about the housekeeping, they cleaned well, but I didn't appreciate entering my room without asking.

3. Breakfast was not included in my stay, so I came for breakfast paying the bill at once. One day they didn't have a card payment terminal working and I was offered to pay it later with check out. However, while I was eating, the same person came up to me 4 times and asked me to pay my bill any other way, without even letting me take a spoon in my mouth.

4. room, the room itself is very cold, the air conditioner on heating sounds as if an airplane is taking off, but it does not heat the room. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything that people do on both sides, from the top floor and from the bottom floor.

5. Location is not very good, its about 20 minutes to the city center on a taxi . Nearby there is a shopping center, pharmacies, supermarkets. But if you want to access the center easily, better to choose another hotel.

Cute hotel very well located, quiet neighborhood close to Diagonal Mar mall (many restaurants, shopping boutiques, beach @ 5min walking …) near to the metro MARESME FORUM. The rooms are well designed, confortables, the beds and pillows are divine. The staff are professional and very kind, especially Mr. Claudio, he’s the man of the situation, he fixed everything for us with a beautiful smile and understanding, everybody was nice, except that girl from the reception (Mereia), she was very rude and disrespectful on the check-in, telling us straight away « You guys are not allow to bring anything from the outside in your room » First of all, we never ever get this kind of warning in a hotel, because we are classy people, we said that is ok because we do respect hotel policies, the next day, we saw bunch of people coming from the outside with groceries, and restaurants stuff and that same girl said nothing to them. It’s unfair and very very wrong, good for her that we are polite people and don’t want to start any kind of mess. We felt very disrespected and discriminated, maybe our type doesn’t suit her , and it is very sad and unacceptable . I really hope that she will get check for that behavior and because of her and her nasty attitude , we won’t come back … Thanks to all the team @ Vincci , expect that unbearable difference of treatment , everything was fine...

Vincci Bit Barcelona – A Horrible Experience, Unsafe, and Mismanaged

My stay at Vincci Bit Barcelona was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. At 4 in the morning, someone entered my room without warning or permission, completely violating my privacy and safety. Had I not spoken up, the intruder wouldn’t have even acknowledged their mistake, which shows just how unprofessional and disorganized this hotel is.

When I brought this terrifying incident to the attention of the manager, Claudio, he initially promised to fully comp my stay. However, when it came time to follow through, he backtracked and offered only 50% off one day of my stay, which felt like an insult considering the severity of what had happened. It was clear that the management didn’t truly care about making things right.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, their “apology” consisted of sending a terrible cake to my room and packing a picnic bag with a sad excuse for a sandwich. This pitiful gesture did nothing to alleviate my concerns about safety or make up for the fact that I spent the remainder of my stay uncomfortable, anxious, and unable to sleep, fearing that someone could walk in at any moment.

This hotel is not safe. They made no real effort to protect or reassure their guests, and I wouldn’t recommend staying...
