I stayed at this hotel with my family for 4 nights, a week ago. I will try to describe all aspects in as much detail as possible:
The hotel is located near a metro station and bus stops, so you can easily reach any part of the city. However, it is relatively far from Catalunya Square or the beach or port. Public transport works very well in Barcelona, and this is not too much of an inconvenience. The street on which the hotel is located is a one-way street, quite quiet, and nearby you can find good restaurants, pharmacies, patisseries, supermarkets - just about everything you need.
The room we stayed in (room number 3 on the third floor) was actually a two-bedroom apartment, one of which had a double bed, a spacious bathroom, an open space with a living room and kitchen. The kitchen is a real one, where you find a large fridge with freezer, stove, kettle if you want to make tea, coffee machine, microwave etc. In the room you will find iron, ironing board, hair dryer. Basically, you have everything you need at your fingertips.
The rooms are large, spacious, the furniture practical and nice, and the mattresses on the bed are very comfortable. There are also some small imperfections here and there, but nothing too disturbing. Cleaning was done every day. A small minus would be the fact that the windows do not seem to be very well soundproofed, because the noise from the street can be heard quite loudly from the room.
Breakfast was served daily starting at 7:30. The options were not very numerous, the menu was the same every day, but everything tasted good: scrambled eggs or boiled eggs; fried ham; about two kinds of cheese; several varieties of Spanish ham; fruits; sweets; two types of bread; two types of fruit juice. There were no vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers). The coffee was from a Nespresso machine.
We had lunch at the hotel restaurant only once. It is an Italian specialty restaurant, and although the food is tasty, if we came to Spain, we prefer Spanish specialty restaurants - we will try the Italian specialty ones when we go to Italy :)
A separate note for the hotel staff: they are friendly, warm, always ready to help you with anything you need.
Our stay in Barcelona was a pleasure, among other things, because of this hotel and the people who work here. The hotel deserves more than the three...
Read moreWe loved our stay from the moment we checked in to feeling quite sad on having to check out.
My small family of 3 including a 10 year old plus 2 cats stayed at Isabella’s for 3+ weeks whilst searching for an apartment to live in Barcelona. We had originally only booked 2 weeks but after a few days decided to extend our stay as just felt at home.
We loved the location as away from the hustle and bustle. Yet still close to things if you need. Cafes, supermarket, restaurants, parks and the beautiful neighbourhood of Sarria. Also close to metro and bus lines.
Isabella’s restaurant downstairs is fantastic. Great Italian food and we would often order up to the room. I also loved the eclectic decor.
The kitchen in the apartment is very cosy but we made it work for the 3 weeks.
Also I have to give big thanks to the cleaners who came every day and were always sincere and would go above and beyond what was expected.
Also thank you to reception for just being welcoming from the start all the way to hugs at the end of our stay. 💕
The hotel is quiet even though at full capacity. The beds were great. We slept super well.
If we were to recommend our friends or family a place to stay while visiting we would definitely recommend Isabella’s.
Loved it! Thank you for making us...

Good location, very close to metro as well and great local bakeries and grocery stores. Amazing restaurant within the hotel, just perfect. Will definitely come back to Barcelona and Isabella's House, we really fell in love with this...
