Fishhh! | Plaça Sant Gregori Traumaturg — Restaurant in Barcelona

We were craving some seafood and after some research, we ended up here. At first glance, the whole white interior was a bit overwhelming, but it does give it a clean feel. We had our sits on the terrace from where we could also look into the kitchen.

If you are looking for a sort of traditional seafood place, then this is not the place to go. They offer a good variety of food, but it all feels a bit 'haute cuisine', not in a bad way per se.

They brought us a salmon tartar as appetizer, but after finding out that one of our company is pregnant, they brought her a separate small fried fish, which is very thoughtful.

Other than that we ordered the calamaris, urchin and oyster as starters. These were all very good!

Then I chose the octopus as a main, I was a bit nervous about this one, because it can easily get chewy. The others ordered one of the pasta's and a salmon. When they brought the plates, it seemed a bit small portioned, so we were worried. But I cannot say anything other than that it tasted amazing and the portion size was perfect. The flavors were really nice, very well cooked and we just simply enjoyed the whole meal!

We also noticed that they use airfryers and ovengrills to prepare food, so it's all also a bit 'healthier'.

The service was great at first, but we were almost the only ones there. When it started to get buys, we did feel as if they didn't come to check as often as we would like. It took a while to get the check.

Very high expectations but unfortunately on this occasion it didn’t live up to it. The service was slow , we had to remind them 3 times to bring bread. No one ever came to ask later if everything is ok ( when you this money this is the kind of thing you expect )

The clams were probably the biggest clams i have ever seen they just didn’t look attractive to eat. The oysters again were huge even though we specifically asked for smaller ones. The urchins were tasteless. I put the 2 stars because the desserts were decent even though they were proudly brought...

Waiter was nasty. We asked for "erizos", he said they did not have as it was out of season. After we saw him deliver erizos to 2 tables I asked him again and he said they had. We order them and he brought them with neatly no content. I checked other tables on the way to the toilet and they got much more content, still small portion but normal.
