We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and here's our experience: ➕ 🚎🏫 good location, great transport link and close to a shopping centre. If someone has kids there's a small playground outside the shopping centre. And since the hotel allows pets. There's also a place outside the shopping centre to walk and play with your dog. 🍽🥂there are a few good restaurants outside the hotel or just a short walk away. 🏨rooms have ironing station, free coffee machine (that is refilled with pods after each cleaning), free bottled water (also refilled with each cleaning), very spacious bed (enough space for both to sleep like starfish), glasses, bottle opener and tea were all in the room. 🥞🥓🥣good and varied breakfast buffet. 🛀nice spa and water circuit with sauna, massaging water streams and ice pool. We had 2 massages there and all the staff were very friendly and helpful (shared some restaurant suggestions with us too). Also the masseuse gave us some professional advice on further body treatments. 🌊there's a nice outdoor pool on the roof top. We've enjoyed the cooling water on a hot day. 🛄we were allowed to check in earlier as the room was ready and on our last day the staff helped us to order a taxi and take our suitcase. ➖ 🥋we had to wait for another bathrobe and slippers for a day, even though we asked for it 3 times, via a call and speaking to reception staff. It seems that some reception staff are more helpful than others. Even after the bathrobe arrived, no one brought an extra toothbrush, shower cap and face towels. ☕the lid of the kettle in the room was not sealling properly. As the water would finish boilling and you lift the kettle by the handle the lid would pop open. Basically, you can burn yourself with hot water. 📶wifi doesn't always switch on ⚠️we also had one hazardous socket, which comes out together with a plug from the wall, if you don't hold it. 🤢the hairdryer looked disgusting, it was very sticky as the film that covered it in the past was already falling apart and formed these sticky plasticky patches. 🎛⚠️the radiator in the bathroom didn't work and the little panel with buttons for it looked like it burnt some time ago as the frame was not metallic grey colour but light brown and yellow. We didn't use it in the end which was a shame, because we did go to swimming pool and water circuit. Our swimwear needed longer time to dry naturally. ⚠️the pool on the rooftop has 2 ladders to go down to the pool and the one further away from the door looks a bit dangerous as one of the handrails is attached to a broken wooden plank and as I was getting off I could feel how it was lifting up. I guess if someone heavier than me went to the pool and used that handrail to get off the water they could break it. There are a few more broken wooden planks on that floor so I wouldn't advise to walk...
Read moreWe have booked the hotel for our 7 days vacation in Barcelona and I consider that it was a good choice. Pros: Very clean hotel with very nice room, furniture in great condition, free coffee /tea in the room, and minibar, safe, iron, A/C, toiletries. Location is good. Not in the center of the city but you have bus/tram/metro connections within 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel (suggest to buy a travel pass for all Barcelona lines). A big shopping center/mall near the hotel ( actually the hotel is built on top of the mall). And here you can find also a super market. Must try the hotel spa, you can buy any packet and you have free access to all the spa's areas ( warm water pool with lots of contraptions like jacuzzi etc, sauna) otherwise you have to pay 16 € per hour to acces but I suggest to take the cheaper 50€-30 min massage and is worth it. On the back side of the hotel there's a parc with children playground and lots of restaurants/coffee shops to chose from. The breakfast provided by the hotel is great ( we haven't booked it because we are not morning persons, it's until 11 o'clock, but economical wise is better than eating at the bars nearby and it looked great and diverse) Free access to wifi (with good connection for browsing and video calls or video streaming) Free access to gim. Free access to the roof swimming pool. The bathroom was big with big bathtub and a separate shower.
Cons: (the reasons I haven't gave it 5 stars) The entrance door of the room was not very sound proof. Sometimes we had the impression that someone is entering the room but actually were our cross the hall neighbors. Any conversation on the hallway could be clearly heard. The bed in our room, even though was very comfortable, was making squeaking sounds on any movement (if you know what I mean). Add this to the upper mention door situation and imagine that this could be a problem for a couple in vacation :D There were no slippers or bathrobe in the room (unusual for 4 stars hotels) Smoking is a pain, since the only smoking areas are outside of the hotel and imagine going up and down for each cigarette ( there's no balcony in the rooms) The swimming pool on the roof without any bar/coffee shop ( so actually is a "go, swim 3 km, dry and go back to your room" kind of pool, not the "go, drink 5 sangria and relax" kind) The hotel's restaurant food diversity not very rich. (we have tried only dinner once, but not enough to chose from but the situation is saved by the restaurants nearby in the park). I feelt that this hotel is more business-wise oriented than tourists-wise.
In conclusion, as quality for price would chose again NH Collection Constanza and...

Our experience at this hotel has been absolutely unacceptable from the very beginning. We arrived a few hours early, exhausted from our journey, hoping we might be able to check in if a room was ready. Reception took our number and said they’d contact us if anything became available. We never heard back.
Assuming things would be ready by the official 3pm check-in, we returned just after that time. To our surprise, the room still wasn’t ready because the previous guest hadn't left on time. This lead to us feeling frustrated as we were so exhausted from travelling since 6am with no sleep. Instead of taking accountability or offering a sincere apology, the receptionist quickly handed us vouchers for alcoholic drinks (one of us doesn’t even drink), told us to wait in the bar for 20 minutes, and brushed us off without checking if this was acceptable.
Feeling ignored, I returned the vouchers to the front desk and asked for a more appropriate resolution—such as a partial discount—for the inconvenience. This request was completely dismissed. Only then, after I pushed back, did the receptionist “magically” find a room for us. Still no apology. No empathy. No professionalism.
To make matters worse, while I was at reception, the bar staff gave my friend a drink using the voucher. When I returned, the bartender rudely demanded we hand her the voucher—even though I had already returned it. She told me to go back and get it from reception. It was humiliating, so we left the untouched drink and walked away. The way we were spoken to made it clear we weren’t being respected—likely because of our age.
The room we were finally given has a terrible view, but at this point, we’re too uncomfortable to raise another issue with the staff. We no longer feel safe or welcome approaching reception after how we’ve been treated.
We are two young women, new to this country, and we feel we were taken advantage of, talked down to, and dismissed repeatedly. The customer service here is not just poor—it’s downright disrespectful. No one should be made to feel the way we did on their first day of travel.
It was very disappointing because it is a really nice hotel in a fantastic location but the reception staff sadly ruined our overall experience. We were eventually sent free water and chocolates along with a note expressing their apology but it simply was not adequate.
This hotel should be ashamed of how it treats guests, especially those they think won’t speak up. We hope management takes this seriously, because no one deserves to be...
