Easily one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve ever visited — an absolute gem in Benidorm!
I held off writing this review until the end of our holiday, just to see how many times we’d return. In the end, we came three times in four days, and honestly, we regretted not going for a fourth instead of wasting money elsewhere.
From start to finish, Napali Tandoori was superb.
We were warmly welcomed with complimentary poppadoms and chutneys while browsing the menu — a nice touch. For starters, the chicken tikka, lamb sheek kebab, and onion bhajis were all spot on. Perfectly seasoned, freshly cooked, and full of flavour.
Drinks-wise, they had all the favourites, including Cobra beer, which felt just right with the food.
The mains were excellent, especially the lamb madras, which I’d highly recommend. The waiter even asked for our preferred spice levels so it could be tailored to taste — I like mine hot, and it still managed to pack plenty of flavour without being overwhelming. The garlic naan was crispy, garlicky, and baked to perfection.
To finish, we had either coffee or ice cream, followed by a complimentary shot of limoncello — a brilliant end to the meal.
All of this for just £18.50 per person — three courses, amazing service, and some of the best Indian food I’ve had anywhere, let alone on holiday.
Full credit to the staff — this place was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended. If I could give it six...

Our food was clearly under cooked and the service person didn't even bother to ask for a replacement.
We ordered "Dal Tadka" and we were served "Black eye Beans" instead and that too not properly cooked and therefore hard to chew! Upon asking the waiter about it, he simply replied, "Oh, is it?" And he didn't even ask us if he can replace the dish. We requested him to cancel the dish as it was non-eatable.
Same story with naan, we ordered Naan with cheese and Garlic which was not cooked completely and one can taste the raw flour but he didn't even cancel the naan or replace them. He kept on saying that we serve it like this only. I even asked him to taste the naan and tell me what he feels about it, but he didn't even try the naan. We had to pay for both the cheese garlic naan even when it was raw and under cooked.
We even asked to call the Chef so that we can ask him about the issues but the waiter denied all the time to call anyone for help!
Such a bad service in a restaurant with these many good reviews was not at all expected!!!
Don't even bother to enter the...
Read moreLoads of people on the Benidorm groups say this is the best curry in Benidorm so we had to try it. We got the lunch special, 12.95€ as we arrived a little late at nearly 3 pm and there was less choices/it was cheaper/it was our first visit here. As others have said it's small on portion size which my partner remarked upon but we enjoyed everything we had. Lamb wasn't exactly melt in the mouth but it wasn't tough either. I thought the staff were nice enough and they spoke English and Spanish which suits us. I love practicing my Spanish. I'm not fussed about the how spicy do you want it. To me, different curries are already different levels of spice like a korma is mild but others are medium like a Rogan Josh, etc. I did like how the garlic naan and pilau rice were included with no extra charge. They also gave us chupitos when the bill came.
Next time we'll go for dinner or earlier and try the more expensive menú del día with more choices and I'll give the menu a proper look,...
