Spain supermarket — Local services in Benidorm

Like a local corner shop, as the likes of ASDA and Tesco's now have. This carries enough of the basic items. When we visited we bought own brand 2ltr fizzy drinks at around 0.79€ Tins of beer from 0.35€. A box of 8 mini own brand 'magnum' ice creams 2 milk, 2 white, 2 dark and 2 milk and nut for 1.65€ Prices are good, the variety is limited but fine for stocking up a week self catering. Along with another proper supermarket that is just 1 street up and near to the beach, you would be able to get almost everything you could want...

Unless your desperate I'd avoid these smaller convenience stores, they over-charge and make prices up on the hop. Milk, bread, small tub of butter, pack of buns ( price marked €1), bottle of 7UP came to €10. Would of been half that price if the main supermarket had of been open. Update December 2022, still overly expensive but not as bad as the smaller...

Open when others are closed is a HUGE bonus, especially when some nearby shops are a rip off in comparison ie nappies, water and milk. Obviously they have less range than the main (gigantic) Carrefour at Finnestrat but everything you need is there. Staff are friendly and helpful too.
